On the one hand ... military tension is rising on the Korean peninsula. The NKs have abrogated the armistice that ended the Korean War of 1950-1953, and continue to provoke the West by all means short of attack (as of Friday night).
But look at this chart of the last week's activity on the Seoul stock exchange (1) :

As of now, their market is at 1395.89, just where it was immediately before the NK nuke test on Monday. A longer term view of the chart shows that the market there has recovered most of the ground it lost in the crash last fall.
If Seoul's stock traders believed (2) that their city was about to be blasted to bits by the NKs, I would have expected their market to drop, not to be stable.

Regarding "satan's board meeting." (1) It is not overt evil that is the problem, it is the lack of charity in all things.
The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference. As creatures of God, many of us are simply indifferent to the wonders of God.
It is impossible to contemplate God if we spend all of our time and energy pursuing the "disposables" of this world while ignoring the eternal treasure of God.
What will it take to get our attention? (A rhetorical question.) (2)

It was quite a plan! The demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there. Having little time for their God or their families. Having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.
As even the casual observer can see, satan's strategy worked better than he ever imagined because, as we "advance" technologically, the results he yearned for increase exponentially.

The key question is how to determine who may be playing the role of a "swine" or a "dog".
I say to you - take refuge in the wisdom of Gamaliel's inspired advice:
Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do, as touching these men. 36 For
before these days rose up Gamaliel, affirming himself to be somebody, to whom a number of men,
about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all that believed him were scattered,

Give them a chance to confirm or disprove the preliminary evaluation of being a "swine" or a "dog". You have nothing to fear. Did I not promise you that...

I continue to read your unique and informative site. Thank you.
However I am mystified by your "seeming and continual " support of President Barrack O'Bama.
Let's forget about the Bushes for sake of argument as I am a political atheist. Obviously they are against many tenets of our faith. Today, at Notre Dame, O'Bama called Cardinal Bernadin a saint.
Perhaps, you too, feel this way. Or support Bernadin's "common ground" agenda in which he claimed it to be "in the spirit of Vatican 2". You are dead right about Cardinal Levada but Bernadin laid the grounwork for most of the perverts in the US hierarchy.
If you disagree please let me know because then I will know that you are a charlatan and not Enoch or Elijah .

Thank you for answering my question (1) as much as you are able to. I understand the parameters you operate under and while I do not possess the depth of illumination you do, I empathize with what you must feel as I feel it too, albeit to a (greatly) smaller degree.
Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof. I try to constantly remind myself of this, while at the same time be mindful of the “big picture”. It is difficult I confess, and I pray I am not mistaken when I say that I have, and continue to, make progress in this due in no small part to your work. While I am still curious to know the specifics, it is no longer a major concern for me. I know God will show me what I need to learn when and if I need to, limited only by my level of faith in Him.
I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that because you do what you do, a lot more people would survive their respective “bus crashes” than they would otherwise. As always, you and the rest of my M+G+R Foundation family remain in my prayers.

Here are some notes on my personal experiences with members of
Opus Dei and Legionnaires of Christ:

Opus Dei (OD): Around the time John Paul II established it
as a Personal Prelature, was the first time I had ever heard of it. At the time I was
exploring the possibility of a vocation and was searching for a "conservative" order to
join. I became aware of the existence of OD, but with only the usual vague official "spin"
about it.
As I could not seem to find any concrete information as to exactly WHAT it was or did, I asked some knowledgeable people (lay & clerical) about it. The responses I got were nebulous - and even cryptic, which struck me as odd. So I asked a seminarian about it. His response was a "knowing smirk", a cryptic non-answer, and consistent effort to change the subject. In effect, he refused to answer my question.. That struck me as being VERY odd. So I wrote to OD. The response letter (since lost) indicated that I would have to give them all of my money, assets, and turn over my income to join. BUT...... no explanation (from the priest who wrote the response) of what OD was!.
As I could not seem to find any concrete information as to exactly WHAT it was or did, I asked some knowledgeable people (lay & clerical) about it. That seminarian later became a priest. Over a period of time we became
convinced (by observation and that of
others) that he was (in various ways) connected to the regular Lodge, the occult, and the
clique of sex abuser priests (and some of their lay cohorts).. He is now celebrating the
Traditional mass in the diocese of [deleted], NC and is close to Bishop Jugis (and was closely
connected to Cardinal McCarrick), and is lauded as being "conservative". Neither applying the
label of "conservative" to one's self, nor of identification with "tradition" or the TLM by itself
is any indication of conversion - much less of a genuine relationship with Christ. And there is no
discernible evidence of such.
The only "known" (i.e. known for a fact) OD member that I have
had dealings with was Fr. George Rutler. While there were surely many others (clerical, lay)
which I had, in retrospect, unknowingly dealt with, Rutler is the only one which I knew of as a
"sure thing". He is quite duplicitous. If you have ever watched his presentations on EWTN, he
seems to be mind controlled.... or a controller? Seemingly in a nearly trance-like state.....
and/or trying to induce one in the viewer. The cue is in his eyes: like a shark, lifeless......
eyelids fluttering. This can indicate anything from lying, to an "alter" (MK-ultra reference).

Also his presentations are both heavily edited (to the point of being non sequitor) and neither make sense - or "come to the (any?) point". When one sees him in person, he is nothing like what you see on EWTN. He is crisp, lucid, and one can sense the "wheels spinning" in his mind. On the phone he is a very cold, calculating liar.. One almost gets the impression, as he was speaking, that he was reading a dossier on you - spread out on his desk!

Legionaries of Christ (LC): Like OD, I had never heard of the
Legionnaires of Christ, until I drove an elderly lady friend (who was an organist) to play a
funeral. It was for the father of a LC member. The son of the deceased (the LC
member) met with her prior to the funeral to discuss the music. Being an "old pro", she would
usually try to gently discourage the family of the deceased from selecting the music - for the
simple reason that they would be under great stress, and not able to make sound decisions. Unless
there was some stipulation in the will of the deceased, etc., which specified certain preferences.
So, normally - and in all charity - "requests" would be discouraged
and gently deflected with a
"I don't know that... don't have the music..... don't have
enough time to learn it....... I forgot my glasses.." or similar! You get the
picture!
Well, not only did he have an (insane) list of music, all of which did NOT
fit the alleged "conservative" image of the LC, he was rather "un-hinged" in his demeanor.
Normally one would chalk this up to the death. But this was something more. He insisted on
singing some of the numbers himself....... AND being the lector....... AND serving the mass
as altar boy........
He could not maintain eye contact when he spoke with her. He was hyper kinetic, and seemingly bi-polar. There was something seriously wrong with him; this was not the normal emotional stress at a death of a loved one. This kid was seriously unbalanced! Alternatively polite, then controlling and with seething temper underneath. He was "damaged goods". It was obvious to her that he had been tampered with on many levels. The thought of some possible sort of psycho-sexual trauma occurred. That something had been done to him, which he was trying (not too well) to suppress.
Only a dozen years later did I fully understand what the LC was, what Maciel had done.......... and then I thought of this poor kid again! Very sad. The poor lady organist was flabbergasted!

Questions one should ask before joining any overly

Regarding the "strange lights in the sky" which seem to be associated with major earthquakes and which conspiracy theorists are using to spin incoherent webs....
On July 28, 1976 at approximately 03:42 AM local time, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake hit the Chinese region of Hebei, with the epicenter at the city of Tangshan. This earthquake is generally regarded as the largest in the 20th century in terms of the death toll (240,000 to 255,000 dead according to official estimates) (1). Days preceding the quake, strange phenomena were reported: In a village outside of Tangshan, well water reportedly rose and fell three times the day before the earthquake. In another village, gas began to spout out of the water well on July 12 and then increased on July 25th and 26th. Other wells throughout the area showed signs of cracking.
On the night before the quake, many people reported seeing strange lights as well as hearing loud sounds. The lights were seen in a multitude of hues. Some people saw flashes of light; others witnessed fireballs flying across the sky. Loud, roaring noises followed the lights and fireballs. Workers at the Tangshan airport described the noises as louder than that of an airplane. (2)
These lights, strange as they may seem, were not phenomena unique to the Great Tangshan Earthquake. Earthquake Lights or EQLs, as they are called, apparently have been recorded as far back as 373 BC although were considered a myth until photographs of actual lights were taken during the 1966 earthquake swarm in Matsushiro, Japan (3). The appearance of EQLs vary. The general categories of observations include: (a) seismic lightning, (b) atmospheric luminous bands, (c) globular incandescent masses, (d) fire tongues, (e) seismic flames, and a newly-recognized category, (f) coronal or point discharges (4). The cause of this phenomenon is unknown, but several explanations have been suggested (5)
Some EQLs have been likened in appearance to the Aurora Borealis; in Tangshan’s case eyewitness reports stated that the sky lit up as if it were day and a colorful, flashing light display was seen in the sky 200 miles away (6). On the surface, it does sound like Sister Lucia’s "unknown lights" (7) with which God announced the upcoming punishment of mankind via World War II; I leave it to you to decide. As a final note, one other interesting phenomena linked with the Tangshan quake were apparent gravity changes before and after the earthquake (8).

Could it be that the un-evangelized are unwitting participants in an evil conspiracy of simulated reality today? I read your Points to Ponder dated May 1st. (1)
I, too was sexually abused back in 1960 by my neighbor and his father. I was also exposed, at that time, to molesting by a very old man in the neighborhood who had candy for children but, would put it on the top shelf in his kitchen where he would lift up little girls (in dresses then) and fondle them while they picked up the candy.
I was threatened by my neighbor and the father about telling my parents and once when I tried to tell my parents he challenged me right in front of them. I said nothing. Many years later (about 30), I actually told my mother who said absolutely nothing, as if she hadn't heard a word I had to say. When I was in my late 30's I decided the only way for me to get over this was to forgive the people who abused me and let God take care of it. I felt no more pain about it.
Two weeks ago my step-son had a breakdown while driving and got into an accident. He was sent to a Mental facility where in therapy he relived his abuse at the hands of a neighbor when he was 5. He was lured to the house by the man's son and raped - video tapes were made. I have located the man who still lives in the same house and intend to turn him over to the FBI hoping they will find the child pornography as I think the time limit to prosecute is long past.
This happens everywhere, not just by religious figures but by sick people everywhere and through many ages. I understand when a religious figure is involved or a teacher is involved it makes big news but, it can happen by ANYONE ANYWHERE! It is still just as painful and disgusting and newsworthy.
It is sad that many of us and our children walk around with this secret in their hearts. I wish there was a way to put it all out there for everyone who has been abused to find the healing help through God and understand that forgiveness may actually help the abuser change their life (only God will know) or at least help the abused change theirs.

A Note from The M+G+R Foundation to all: May the above true story encourage all who have been sexually abused to find the peace they need and deserve by bringing "the secret" out in the open and, if at all possible, stop the predators on their soul destroying quest. Even if the prosecution time limit has expired, a report may lead to the competent authorities to uncover the many child pornography distribution centers in the Net. Using this type of reporting the European Union authorities are working wonders in deactivating the many Sites that now exist on a worldwide scale, take the mentally deranged out of circulation and, in many cases, rescue the children.

Her supporters hail her principled defense of Roman Catholic Church orthodoxy and her public anti-abortion stance.

To grasp, as Glendon is doing here, for the moral high ground in
opposition to a pro-abortion-rights president even as she has most recently been the public
representative -- to the Vatican, no less! -- of an administration that had, as unapologetic
policy, such intrinsic evils as torture: well, it is more ironic than I could ever have
imagined.
It is just a matter of politics and very little to do with God and His Laws. (2)

The virus itself (a mix of human, avian, and swine flu) is suspicious, as is the earlier report of Baxter (2) "accidentally" putting live avian flu into some of its vaccines.
Additionally - I actually went through the flu pandemics of 1957 (as a toddler) and 1969 (as a teenager). Those pandemics are usually listed along with 1918 as the flu pandemics of the 20th century.
I am sure that I got the flu during both epidemics, as I used to every winter before 1987, when I began getting annual flu shots. The flu was uncomfortable, and might have had me in bed for a few days, but it never sent me to the hospital.
Nobody ever made the big noise about the 1968-69 pandemic that they are doing about the current virus. Nor was it a matter of discussion in my family - and my Dad was a pediatrician in a state health department. (I followed the news then too, and so I would have remembered a big scare, just as well as I remember the Chicago convention, the invasion of Czechoslovakia, and the election of Nixon.)
It is very fishy indeed.

The Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmaceutical company Baxter International Inc. has just been caught shipping live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccine material to medical distributors in 18 countries. The "mistake" was discovered by the National Microbiology Laboratory in Canada. The World Health Organization was alerted and panic spread throughout the vaccine community as health experts asked the obvious question: How could this have happened?
