Dear Sir:

Your recent article on Opus Dei was quite on target but 180 degrees off.

1. On Target Because:

You have published many articles that were offensive to the Christian faith in general and the Catholic Church in particular, but there were almost no complaints. But you published an article critical of Opus Dei and they flood you with complaint letters. If they are really such "super Catholics", why did they not complain every time the Christian Faith was offended? Is it more serious to offend Opus Dei than to offend God?

Think about this. There is much (hidden) information on that last question.

2. 180 Degrees Off Because:

Opus Dei is not "O Exército Secreto do Papa" ("The Pope's Secret Army"). Opus Dei é "O Carcereiro do Papa" ("The Pope's Jail Warden").

Now Opus Dei will remove the Pope and install one who is really theirs but who no longer is a Vigario de Cristo.

Note added in 1999 - Five years later: Once the word was out about removing Pope John Paul II from office, through many different and verifiable means, the plan was canceled. Details of such plan and its abandonment are beyond the scope of this document.
