I am not interested in
the Mayans, but I was perusing the
links to see what was there.
I was reflecting on this "Mayan" craze. The new Mel Gibson movie is about Mayan
sacrifice. Another piece of uplifting entertainment I am sure.
I was also thinking today, I am troubled by the number of ordinary people who are totally
oblivious to what is happening. I am very concerned about these people amending their lives
and besides praying and doing what I can to lead a better life as an example, I am not sure what
else to do.
Logically, this means THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE LOST. However, it would seem that God would not
want this, and I wonder if at the moment of death, these people see the light and are saved.
If not for this kind of miracle, it would seem that only a tiny fraction of humanity will be
saved. That would be sad.
I somehow cannot believe that God would allow this. I have no right to judge what God
wants, but at this late date, if we continue on our current trajectory, most people will not find
God. The other concept which I am sure that you know is that it is best if you know God,
BEFORE you have a problem, since it is easier to approach Him. I should stop worrying, but
it is a concern. When I have a concern it helps me to think harder to see if there is
anything else I might be able to do.
I realize that the path is the narrow gate, but it seems such a waste that so many will not make
it. I am hoping that God provides some kind of window of Mercy at the end. I'd like to
think that He has done that for preceding generations since none of them had any apocalypse in
their faces.
Bush is about to send the US over the edge.
Peace.

Was it not Judas who was disturbed with the nard being poured on the feet of the Lord? Was it not
he who grumbled that it could instead have been sold and the money given to charity?
[John 12: 4-5]
Now it is worse. They sell blasphemy (Archer's "The Gospel of Judas") and give the money to the
poor!
May God Bless us all,

This hymn (*) reminds me of what I see in the
"Divine Encouragement" posts.
This particular song gave me consolation in the winter of 1978-1979, when I had done a story about
some far-left criminals in Oregon, and was catching hell from leftists in town for what I had
published.
It was in the summer of 1978 that I had returned to Christ, and began going to church again after
a 13-year lapse, and as I worked on that awful story that winter, I prayed a lot ... and got the
divine assistance that the song describes.

Several items regarding Archer's Gospel of Judas ... the date of publication is tomorrow, March
20th, we will see what happens then.
Meanwhile the following should serve as a preparation for its debut:
=============================
The book web page indicates that the Judas book is being published simultaneously in 10 countries
- including Portugal. The list is here:
Here are the countries:
===========================
Here is the home page for the book as it is tonight, with the October 2006
quote from B16 at the top of the page:
Quote, with bold added:
"The book, which is presented in gospel style with two-colour
text, ribbon marker and gilded edges, and "written" by the son of Judas, is a highly
readable and gripping account of the stories of Jesus and Judas, which will open a whole new
debate among secular and religious readers."
And here are the clerical endorsers that Archer lists - I put their names
in red. Carey, the former Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, has a reputation among
Anglicans for being Evangelical and orthodox. (He has no use for gay unions, but accepts
women priests and has been very gentle in dealing with the antics of the Royal Family.)
Quote, with red/bold added:
"Praise for The Gospel According to Judas, by Benjamin
Iscariot:
"Riveting and plausible."
--Archbishop Desmond Tutu
"I have read it and like it very much indeed!"
--Lord Carey, former Archbishop of Canterbury
"I am writing to both of you together to offer my congratulations for the work that you
are doing, and which should do a great deal of good."
--Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, Archbishop emeritus of Milan and
former rector of the Pontifical Biblical Institute
"I share with you the hope that it may lead many more people to turn to the four Gospels
and to present a compassionate Jesus."
--Denis J Hart, Archbishop of Melbourne"
And the news page indicates that the RC Cathedral of Westminster will host a debate early on:
Jeffrey Archer | News & Events
Quote:
"Appearance at Westminster Cathedral
On Wednesday 21 March at 6:30pm, there will be a lecture and debate on
The Gospel According to

Here is the latest story in the London Telegraph. The lead graf says that the book will be
launched in Rome today. Remember that this is the British press; we will know soon enough.
Telegraph
newspaper online
Here are the key parts of the long article, with bold added:
"As Jeffrey Archer's new book is launched in Rome today, Peter Stanford asks the former
jailbird what drew him to the bad boy of the gospels"
and
"How about Judas as scapegoat then, I suggest? Archer's new book presents the errant apostle as
someone as much sinned against by subsequent Christian scribes, anxious to paint him in the
blackest light, as he himself ever "sinned" against Jesus. Does Archer feel a connection because
he has, some have argued, been scapegoated as the epitome of Tory rule in the 1980s when
he was deputy chairman and a star fund-raiser for Margaret Thatcher?"
Senders Comments in brackets:
[So Archer was a "deputy chairman and star fund-raiser for Margaret Thatcher"! This is
a very important item:
1. It establishes that Archer is a conservative, not a
"pinko-liberal"
2. Thatcher was a close collaborator with Reagan and, later, Gorbachev
3. As I recall, when Saddam invaded Kuwait in August 1990, for the first day or two George HW Bush
was NOT taking a hard line against the attack. It is as if he was following through on the
"wink-wink" that Ambassador Glasspie supposedly to Saddam earlier that year, when Saddam hinted at
his plans. But Thacher was firmly anti-Saddam as soon as the invasion occurred, and (I
believe) that it was her intervention that stiffened Bush the Elder's resolve to oppose the
invasion. (Note: I don't have sources; this is just based on what I recall from the period.)
4. Given points 1-3 above, it seems likely that Archer is a part of the social circle of key
NWO players. ]
Back to the quotes from the Telegraph story. The interviewer asked:
"Might it just be then, I persist, that his patent wish in the text to rehabilitate Judas has
something to do with his own desire to be rehabilitated?"
and Archer replied:
"Go boil your head." It's said in a good-humoured way. Almost. "I'm writing a new novel. I've just
been offered a new television series. I'm travelling to Rome and America next
week. What else do I want? No thank you."
then
"How deep this new, humbler streak goes will be tested today when Archer stages the
"global launch" of The Gospel According to Judas in Rome."
and
"The project was stalled until two years ago. "I was having sausage and mash at the pub
with Father Michael Seed and I mentioned my idea and he said, 'Oh Jeffrey, you must meet Cardinal
Martini..'"
Father Seed is, of course, the Roman Catholic priest and friend of the Blairs who is
well-known for working with high-profile converts to the Church such as Ann Widdecombe and John
Gummer. It was through Martini, a former Archbishop of Milan, once the great hope of liberal
Catholics as the successor to Pope John Paul II, but now living in retirement, that Archer was put
in touch with the priest who is his co-author.
In the past, the uncharitable have suggested Archer's string of best-selling novels, dating back
to Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less, which rescued him from bankruptcy in the 1970s, are not all
his own work. On The Gospel According to Judas, he is a proud to have landed such a
distinguished collaborator as the Australian Catholic theologian and long-time papal adviser,
Father Francis Moloney, whom Archer calls "Frank".
Why was he so anxious about academic credibility? "I guess it's being married to an academic [Mary
Archer taught chemistry at Cambridge]." The book itself - he is keen that it is not called a novel
but a gospel - is an impressive piece of scholarship, with a nine-page glossary. "That was Frank's
work," Archer says modestly. "I just got him to cut it down from 30 pages so the masses wouldn't
get bogged down in it."
There is no sensationalism in The Gospel According to Judas, and little controversy. The
suggestion that Judas did not regard Jesus as the Messiah come to save humankind but rather as a
saviour to liberate the Israelites from Roman occupation is a standard one in academic discourse.
Even the presentation is disarmingly straight. Despite Archer's previous literary reputation, he
will certainly not be facing any accusations of blasphemy. One of his friends, he
reports, has even called it boring.."
========================================
And here is a current story from the Australian press:
Judas
goes to rehab - Books - Entertainment - theage.com.au
Key quotes:
"I am talking to Francis J. Moloney, a man who wears several impressive hats. He
is one of the most respected biblical scholars in the world. He is head of the Australian
Province of the Salesians of Don Bosco, an order of Catholic priests dedicated to helping young
people in trouble. He is also, in one of the most unlikely cultural pairings since Kylie
Minogue recorded with Nick Cave, the collaborator with Jeffrey Archer in a new book, The Gospel
According to Judas."
and Moloney says of himself:
"I'm expecting trouble from the extreme right and the extreme left," he says. "The problem
is the right are in power. George Pell will be annoyed by this. But I think I can handle these
people, I'm an internationally accepted scholar."
Indeed he is. The author of almost 40 books, many on the gospels, Moloney served for 18
years on the International Theological Commission to the Holy See. His positions have included
professor of New Testament at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC and president of
the Catholic Biblical Association of America.
There were dozens of gospels written in the first few centuries after Christ's
death, but Moloney says: "They were never intended to be a factual history of
Jesus. Most of what the gospels say happened did happen. But certain major elements are the fruit
of the imagination of the preaching church. They're narratives composed of memories and
stories, with the objective of showing what God had done for us through the life of Jesus Christ."
Why did the four gospels in the New Testament survive? Moloney says it's because they best
addressed the issues readers were trying to grapple with at the time the early church established
a canon.
At least some of the issues we're grappling with are different from those that preoccupied the
first and second centuries, so maybe we need a new gospel to reflect this?
"I would hope that it throws into greater relief the human side of Jesus," he says. "I have him
smile. I have eliminated some of the more spectacular miracles that people have trouble
accepting. What I've left in are the sort of things I think Jesus possibly did."
So no walking on water, no turning water into wine.
"It's a more realistic Jesus. It's a more human Jesus and I hope a more compassionate
Jesus. I think the Christian Church at the moment is in desperate need of more
compassion."
Senders Comments in brackets:
[ Moloney sounds like he belongs with the Jesus Seminar, the people who, in the late 1990s,
issued a revised BIble in which they added the "Gospel of Thomas" as a fifth gospel, and voted on
the likelihood that Jesus really said and did the things that the Evangelists credited to
him. As I recall, the "Jesus" that emerged from their redaction of the Bible was not the
kind of person that anyone would bother to crucify. ]
and the article continues:
"ARCHER'S ACCOUNT TO me of meeting Moloney is told as though part of one of his novels. He
flew to Italy to ask the ageing Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, archbishop emeritus of Milan and
"the world's leading expert on the New Testament", to do the book with him.
Martini was too ill, so Archer asked him to name "the finest pupil he had ever taught"
when rector of the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, "the centre of the Catholic Church".
Martini named Moloney. Moloney says Martini encouraged him to take it on. "He told me he thought
it was a very worthwhile project and needed to be done (because there's a) gross misunderstanding
of Judas."
There were more trips to Rome, where agreement was reached about 15 months ago. Archer hints at
some higher purpose in all this: "Martini introducing him to me and what's happened since,
things have just fallen into place. They're more than coincidental in my view."
and
"Moloney hopes the result will provoke useful discussion of Judas and encourage people to
think again about the four familiar gospels, spurred in part by the contents of the 10
pages of notes included in the book. The money he makes will be used to build a secondary school
in Samoa.
It all sounds very promising. Is it possible Archer was sent to him by God?
"I think so," Moloney says. "I'm at the end of my academic career and this is a remarkable
thing, that after 40 years of thinking and writing at universities, suddenly Jeffrey Archer, who's
published millions of books, asks me into his world to write something with him that will open the
minds and hearts of many people to the message of Jesus."

The quoted article (from Wall Street Journal March 16,
2007) shows why man's concern for the welfare of his fellow man is so
phony.
For all the talk of world health, prevention of disease, and the most unholy of
all, "illegal drugs," we have clear evidence that an industry clearly associated with premature
death is legal, encouraged, and flourishing.
I do not understand how sane people can stop from screaming about this
hypocrisy. We clearly deserve whatever punishment God will send us.
The key paragraph is listed below.
Peace
JC
That ability to endure is all the more striking in an era when many companies – from the
petroleum, investment-banking and airline industries, among others -- have reached a realization
that a poor public image hurts the bottom line. After all, in the U.S. during the late 1990s,
"
tobacco
killed more people than the combined total of those who died from AIDS, car accidents, alcohol,
murder, suicide, illegal drugs and fire," the Economist notes.
It contributes to the "deaths of more than 400,000 Americans each year, 160,000 of them from
lung cancer." And yet 50 million Americans continue to smoke. A new book from Harvard professor
Allan Brandt, reviewed by the magazine, examines the tobacco industry's history, from the 1881
invention of the automatic rolling machine though the Bush administration's decision last year to
back away from a case aimed at making the industry responsible for the federal costs of treating
tobacco-related illness.
Mr. Brandt concludes: "The legal assault on Big Tobacco had been all but repelled. The industry
was decidedly intact, ready to do business profitably at home and abroad."

"Cardinal" Egan has once again shown his true demonic colors by tricking the Manhattan pastor of
the only remaining Lithuanian national parish to come to the Chancery for a meeting with
Egan....... so that hired goons,
on Egan's authority, could
change the locks on the Church of Our Lady of Vilnius. Fr. Eugene Sawicki. J.C.L. returned to find
himself locked out of his rectory! And the church is now, abruptly closed.
While the parish is small and non resident in the area (it never was a Lithuanian neighborhood,
the people came from all over the city), it was financially self supporting, to the best of my
knowledge. The building sit in the VERY trendy Soho neighborhood, surrounded by the residences,
flesh pots, galleries, and clubs of the glitterati...... like Robert De Niro and other Hollywood
personas. It is simply very valuable real estate which Egan desires to sell for millions to fill
the Diocesan coffers........ and likely to pay off sex abuse legal expenses too.
What makes this even sicker is that Egan met with and received pleas from the the Consul General
and President of Lithuania, both via letter and a personal meeting with the Consul General!
May Egan come to repentance before he goes to meet Christ!

It seems that Jeffrey Archer - Publisher of
The
Gospel of Judas by Benjamin Iscariot (to be released on March 20th) - would get on well
with those in the Vatican who fabricated the version of the Third Secret of Fatima.
From his Wikipedia bio: (*)
Quote:
"There has been much confusion over the details of Archer's life and there is evidence that he has
exploited ambiguities or else fabricated details on many occasions--for example, he once claimed
in a television interview that his father was
Viceroy of
Brunei, and at another time
referred to him as British
consul
in
Singapore.. In fact,
Brunei has never had a Viceroy, nor did Singapore have a British consul at the time (having been a
British colony)."
and
"Perjury and downfall
Archer had been selected by the Conservative Party as their candidate for the
London
mayoral election of 2000. He was forced to withdraw from the race when it was revealed that he
was facing a charge of perjury.
In November 1999 Ted Francis, a friend (who claimed Archer owed him money) and Archer's former
personal assistant Angela Peppiatt (whom Archer had been semi-maintaining) claimed that he had
fabricated an
alibi in
the 1987 trial. They were apparently concerned that Archer was standing as
Mayor of London
and doubted that he was suitable for the post. The personal secretary had apparently kept a secret
diary of Archer's movements. This formed the basis of the case against Archer.
The News of the World printed the allegations on
21 November
1999 and
William Hague, the
Conservative Party leader, forced Archer to withdraw as the Party's Mayoral candidate the
following day. Hague said "This is the end of Politics for Jeffrey Archer. I will not tolerate
such behaviour in my
party".[6]
On 8 October he had
described Archer as a candidate of "Probity and integrity. I'm going to back him all the way" at
the Conservative party conference. Hague was never keen on Archer's running for the job in the
first
place[citation
needed] but as Archer was voted top of the poll by the Conservative
associations he backed him.
On 4 February
2000 Archer was expelled from the
Conservative Party for five years. On
26 September
2000 he was charged with perjury and
perverting the course of justice (i.e., obstruction of justice) during the 1987 libel trial.
A few months before the beginning of the perjury trial, Archer began performing in the star role
in a courtroom play (which he also wrote) called The Accused. The play was staged at
London's
Theatre
Royal Haymarket and concerns the court trial of an alleged murderer from beginning to end.
While its plot appeared to have been largely borrowed from a 1950s film,
Witness
for the Prosecution (based on a play by
Agatha
Christie), the play used the innovation of assigning the role of jury in the trial to the
audience, with theatre-goers voting on whether Archer's character was innocent or guilty at the
end of each night's performance. The trick of using a jury from the audience was previously used
in 1934 by Ayn Rand in her play "Night of
January 16". Archer would
attend his real trial during the day and be judged in his fictional trial at the theatre in the
evening.
The real life trial began on 30
May 2001. On
19 July
2001 Lord Archer was found guilty of
perjury and perverting the course of justice at the 1987 trial. He was sentenced to a total of
four years' imprisonment by Mr. Justice Potts. The most ironic aspect of his trial was that he had
fabricated the alibi for the wrong date. Archer never spoke during the trial. Ted Francis was
found not guilty of perverting the course of justice.
Archer's mother died on 11 July
2001 aged 87, and he was released for
the day on 21 July to attend
the funeral.
Archer originally was sent to
Belmarsh
Prison, but was moved to the category "C"
Wayland Prison in
Norfolk on
9 August
2001, and to
HMP
North Sea Camp, an
open
prison in October 2001. From there he was let out to work at the
Theatre
Royal in
Lincoln,
England, and was allowed
occasional
home
visits. Reports in the media, which showed a continuing interest in him, claimed that he had
been abusing this privilege by attending lunches with friends, and in September 2002 he was
transferred to
Lincoln
Prison for a month.
In October 2002 Archer repaid the Daily Star the £500,000 damages he had received in 1987,
as well as legal costs of £1 million (under the British legal system, losing claimants must
re-pay the defendant's legal costs). That month, he was suspended from
Marylebone
Cricket Club for seven years for his behaviour.
On 21 July
2003 he was released on licence,
after serving half of his
sentence,
from
HMP
Hollesley Bay, Suffolk. In September 2003, the government announced reforms that would prevent
convicted criminals from serving in the
House of Lords;
supporters argued that other peers sent to prison, such as
Lord
Kagan, were not stripped of their titles. Those reforms have yet to be implemented.
Many of Lord Archer's friends remained loyal to him. He and Lady Archer were invited guests to the
Memorial Service for
Norris
McWhirter at
Saint
Martin-in-the-Fields on Thursday,
7 October
2004 where they were observed sitting
in the same pew as former head of the
Conservative
Monday Club, Gregory Lauder-Frost, and directly in front of Lady Thatcher, who made a point of
embracing Lady Archer.
In the 2006 book "The Wonga Coup" by Adam Roberts, Archer was accused of being one of the backers
of the 2004 coup in
Equatorial
Guinea. Records seized by prosecutors in the trial following the failed coup attempt show a
bank transfer was made from the account of a "J.H. Archer" into the account of
Simon Mann. Archer has
denied involvement.
On 17 September
2005 Archer was appearing at an event
in Manchester for the
tenth birthday of
Kirsty Howard to
raise money for the
Francis
House Children's Hospice. Someone shouted out "Monica". Archer looked up and had a bucket of
cold porridge thrown over him. The culprit fled.
In November 2005, after being expelled from the Conservative Party in 2000, he made a bid to
re-join the
party.[7]
The
Independent newspaper reported of the "coincidence" that his bid to re-join the
Conservative party, and the ensuing publicity, coincided with details of his forthcoming book
being released.
On 26 February
2006 on
Andrew Marr's
Sunday AM
programme, Archer said he had no interest in returning to politics: he would pursue his writing
career
instead.[8]"
Yet, it seems that he's worthy of honor from the Bush Administration or from the Vatican, it
seems.

Jeffrey Archer - Wikipedia, the free

From LP @ USA [Published on
March 11th]
There is a long article on the eclipse of "Liberation Theology" in the RCC. (*) This
part got my attention (it is toward the end of the story) - bold added by me:
"A liberating perspective clearly exists in the Kenyan Church, but there is still a strongly
hierarchical element in African Catholicism. We attended Mass in one of Nairobi's slums,
where a large congregation of slum-dwellers had gathered in the open air. The Gospel reading
seemed heaven-sent for the occasion, with Christ reading from Isaiah to describe his mission of
bringing good news to the poor and letting the oppressed go free (Luke 4: 18-19).
In his homily, the priest told this gathering of some of the most excluded people on earth
that, if we want to understand the causes of poverty and injustice, we must not look outwards at
structures and institutions, but inwards at the evil in our own hearts. It seemed a harsh message
for people whose lives are blighted by political corruption and a global economic order that is
indifferent to the misery of millions like them.
Then, when it came to Communion, a deacon reminded us that only those in a state of grace
were entitled to receive the Eucharist. Very few went up and, when someone in our group asked why,
we were told it was because most of them were single mothers. Some of us left that Mass feeling
distressed and angry, and I felt ashamed of having taken Communion in a rite in which the rich
felt qualified to receive while the destitute felt themselves to be unworthy.
Like much else over the last few weeks, this encounter with Catholicism in Africa was a
challenging experience of contrasts and paradoxes. On the one hand, there was a vibrant
sense of a Church that takes its place at the forefront of the struggle for justice, so
that, if liberation theology itself has become somewhat exhausted, its message has seeded itself
in the grassroots life of the Church of the poor. On the other hand, it is still a Church
capable of stifling Christ's incarnational presence through an excessive emphasis on hierarchical
structures and moral values ill-suited to cope with the struggle against HIV/Aids."
It seems as if the RCC has been teaching an inverted gospel, in which Christ comes to comfort and
strengthen the "well," while sending away the poor and those who are aware of their own sin.
What awful catachesis preceded this moment, if its "success" was to persuade single mothers that
they are unworthy of the Eucharist!

"Dylan a False 'Prophet,' Says Pope
Benedict"
Who could make this one up?
Shouldn't the headline be::
"Antichrist calls Bob Dylan, antiwar singer from the 1960s, a 'false prophet' "
Quotes from the whole story follows, with bold added by me:
---------------------------------------------------
Dylan a False 'Prophet,' Says Pope Benedict
Current Pope Did Not Want John Paul to See Singer in 1997
By PHILIP PULLELLA, Reuters
VATICAN CITY (March 8) - Pope Benedict was opposed to Bob
Dylan appearing at a youth event with the late Pope John
Paul in 1997 because he considered the pop star the wrong kind of "prophet," Benedict writes in a
new book issued on Thursday.
Benedict, who was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger at the time of the concert in Bologna, Italy,
makes the disclosure in a new book of memoirs about his predecessor, who died in 2005.
"There was reason to be skeptical, -- I was, and in a certain sense I still am, -- to
doubt if it was really right to let these types of prophets intervene," Benedict writes,
only mentioning Dylan among the stars who appeared.
....
Dylan sang "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," his 1960s anti-war classic "A
Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall," and "Forever Young," a song of hope and courage.
In his new book, Pope Benedict does not explain why he does not like Bob
Dylan or why he considers him a false "prophet."
........
At the 1997 concert, John Paul referred to what is perhaps Dylan's most famous song,
"Blowing in the Wind," which became an anthem for young people seeking meaning in life in the
1960s.
John Paul told the crowd of some 300,000 young Italian Catholics that the answer was indeed "in
the wind" -- but not in the wind that blew things away, rather "in the wind of the spirit" that
would lead them to Christ.
.....
======================================
One of the 3 songs that Dylan sand at the 1997 concert was "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall," which
Dylan wrote in 1962 in response to the threat of nuclear war - and within a few weeks, the Missile
Crisis occurred. And B16 objected to this ...

My Friends,
The peace of our Lord be with you all, and continued blessings
upon you all this new year!
While I hesitate to begin the year with more questions, I feel
compelled to ask a few:
3 And I will give unto
my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in
sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, that
stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire shall
come out of their mouths, and shall devour their enemies. And if any man will hurt them, in this
manner must he be slain. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not
in the days of their prophecy: and they have power over waters to turn them into blood, and to
strike the earth with all plagues as often as they will. 7 And when they shall
have finished their testimony, the beast, that ascendeth out of the abyss, shall make war against
them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their bodies shall lie in the
streets of the great city, which is called spiritually, Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord also was
crucified. 9 And they of the tribes, and peoples, and tongues, and nations, shall
see their bodies for three days and a half: and they shall not suffer their bodies to be laid in
sepulchres. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and
make merry: and shall send gifts one to another, because these two prophets tormented them that
dwelt upon the earth. -- The Apocalypse of Saint John, Chapter
11.
The two witnesses are generally thought of as Elias and Henoch. If
so, Miguel is Elias, who then is Henoch? In the November '06 Points to Ponder page, in one of
your responses you stated "Remember, we are not talking about the Catholic Faith for which defense
we will be put to death in the future..." Did the 1,260 days start with your
announcement of Miguel's true (spiritual) identity as Elijah? There are other
questions I wish to ask, but these will suffice for now. I understand as always that God may not
will these questions answered at this time (or at all), I just felt the need to ask.
I would also like to say that I feel blessed to live through these
times, I only pray for the strength that I will feel the same when the chastisements come. To you
all, and to Miguel especially, my deepest, most sincere thanks. You all know God better than most
of us, but I hope you also know that there are still sinners like me who appreciate your
efforts to lead us home. Again, thank you.
Yours In Christ.

May the Peace of Our Lord continue to be with you all!
I have found a web site (*) that you might be interested sharing with
others who might be in a similar situation as myself.
As you already know, the last year I have been honored to care for,
and have living with us, a very special lady who has Alzheimer's. As the months have gone on,
and as expected, her health has gone downward, and I am unable to get out of the
house as much because of caring for her.
At first it was only a couple days a week that I was unable to go
to mass, and although that was scary to me, (I know how much I need Him to keep me
nourished)
I realized that I pray daily, for Him to help me to accomplish all
that He Wills for me to accomplish each day, so if my circumstances are making it
impossible for me to attend mass as frequently, then He must have a good reason for it, even
if I don't know what it is.
As her health declined, I could only make mass 2 or 3 times
a week. I treasured those few hours with Him. But He Willed otherwise, and then for
the last 6 or so weeks it is only on Sunday's that I am able to get out to attend a Mass.
Two Sundays ago, as I got ready to go to Mass, (my daughter was
going to stay with her) her health got even worse and I had to take her to the hospital ER.
I had to go 14 whole days without receiving Him before I was able
to get to another Mass.
Perhaps He is just testing me, to see how much I miss Him, or
perhaps He is preparing me for when we move to our farm which is much more rural, or perhaps He is
preparing me for when it will become harder and harder to find a real Mass, ...
I am not sure, I am trying not to be afraid, that without me
receiving Him, in Holy Communion, I might lose my way, and disappoint Him, or not have
the love and strength I need to fulfill my duties... but I also try to
remember that He is with me, and can read my heart and knows how much I really do
miss Him.
I also know that this is only for a time and for a lesson, and pray
that I may learn it quickly, whatever it may be that He Will's me to learn.
I also realize that He is allowing my children to witness my longing
for Him.
This week my daughter didn't even complain when I asked her to sit
with her for an hour so that I could go to Mass. Maybe soon they will not just
understand, but long for Him too!
In the meantime, I am trying to do what I can, and seeking Him
wherever and however I can.
I know that viewing Him 'live' or otherwise on a computer or
television screen is not the same as visiting Him in His Church in the Blessed Sacrament, but when
it is the only option, (and I am sure there are others facing the same problem just different
circumstances), I am just as sure that He honors our trying, and will bestow the Graces He Knows
we need and seek so that we can fulfill His Will for us.
After reading the February 17th Public Forum, and your
reply:
'What we are illustrating to do is - first of all, search high and low because God may just have
the Church you are looking for around the corner; then, you must "make do" with what is available
until it becomes simply impossible to attend a Mass because it is no longer offered in an
appropriate manner'
I thought, that since there are probably others like me,
that are homebound for one reason or another, that I should share this web site with you. It
also has wonderful prayers, a spiritual communion prayer and many readings to choose from, much
more than the daily missal from my church has, for the daily readings.
I just read today's 'office of readings' morning, evening
prayers and readings.
I have never even seen some of these prayers, (which are probably so
basic). I have heard of some of them, but never knew where to even look to find them.
Thank you Jesus for not leaving me alone, and for showing me other
ways to find You, and to learn how to praise you. I feel to be so blessed to have found this
site, just like I was to have found yours.
I had found it awhile ago, put it on my favorites list, but only visited once in awhile.
I wasn't sure about it at first, if it was ok to be substituting 'live adoration' for a computer
version, but I do think it is ok, when circumstances make a visit to a church
impossible, if I am wrong, please correct me.

Thank you for your answer in the Public Forum posting of February 4th.
From what I can see and my understanding of God, it would seem that those of us who would like to
consider ourselves "The Elect" have a lot of work to do.
That is, it seems reasonable to conclude THAT MANY MORE MUST JOIN THE RANKS OF THE ELECT prior to
final judgment. They have not received or acted on the Divine messages and as you point out,
IT IS THE OBLIGATION OF THOSE WHO HAVE THE GOOD NEWS TO SPREAD IT.
It then becomes obvious why God sent Miguel and this web site, to act "as a floating board," to
give those survivors of life's calamities something to hold onto for dear and Eternal Life.
It is also clear that a brief review of the headlines of any news outlet, on any day, shows
that we are always on the edge of impending disaster. If it is not bird flu, some other
lethal illness, or Alzheimer's, then it is global warming, lack of oil, war in all parts of
the globe, local, national, and international corruption, or simply refusal to do the right thing,
time and time again, day after day. The daily news is the BAD NEWS.
Thus, as outlined by Miguel, there will be a SECOND BIG BANG needed to wake up the remainder of
the Elect. This seems likely to be gruesome since the softer warnings, which occur daily,
have been ignored.
All of us who responded to the call for prayer on the Hour of Divine Grace on December 8, 2006,
should keep at our work to bring everybody "on board."
Thanks again for your inspiration and instruction, Miguel.
May God keep you and us at our work, which is His Will.

Add this to the "engineered fall of Communism" file and the "proven conspiracies" file, as well as
noting the psalm in which it is noted that the one who digs a pit for others to fall into, will
fall into it himself.
from Chalmers Johnson, Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire, Henry
Holt, 2004 (rev. ed.), p. xiii
==========================
Johnson says,
" The USSR's invasion of Afghanistan was deliberately provoked. In his 1996 memoirs, former
CIA director Robert Gates writes that the American intelligence services actually began to aid the
mujahideen guerrillas in Afghanistan not after the Soviet invasion of that country, but
six months before it. And in a 1998 interview with the French weekly magazine
Le Nouvel Observateur, former President Carter's National Security Adviser, Zbigniew
Brzezinski, unambiguously confirmed Gates' assertion."
"'According to the official version of history,' Brzezinski told the Nouvel
Observateur, 'CIA aid to the mujahideen began during 1980, this is to say,
after the Soviet army invaded Afghanistan on December 24, 1979. But the reality, closely
guarded until now, is completely otherwise: Indeed, it was July 3, 1979, that President Carter
signed the first directive for secret aid to the opponents of the pro-Soviet regime in
Kabul. And that very day, I wrote a note to the president in which I explained to him that
in my opinion that aid was going to induce a Soviet military intervention'."
"When asked whether he regretted these actions, Brzezinski replied:
'Regret what? That secret operation was an excellent idea. It had the effect of
drawing the Russians into the Afghan trap and you want me to regret it? The day that the
Soviets officially crossed the border, I wrote to President Carter, essentially: 'We now have the
opportunity of giving the USSR its Vietnam War.'
Nouvel Observateur: 'And neither do you regret having supported Islamic fundamentalism,
which has given arms and advice to future terrorists?'
Brzezinski: 'What is more important in world history? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet
empire? Some agitated Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the Cold
War?'"

Thank you very much for
recommending the Chaplet of Tears. I have begun to pray it as a novena this day, as you suggested.
I have continued to pray the
rosary daily. But things have gotten much better, in the sense of the spiritual for me - making
prayer much more of a joy. In part I ascribe this to the disposal of some objects on my property
which may have been (literally) cursed. Let me explain very briefly:
When I bought my house a few
years ago I was also offered a neighboring property. It, along with another adjoining one had not
been occupied in many years. It/they were wrecks which I chose not to purchase as I felt them to
be foolish investments as they were "too far gone" - and I could not have afforded to attempt a
restoration. I was allowed to enter & examine the houses, and to remove some items found there
- some tools and random supplies from a failed restoration attempt by the previous owner. Inside I
found two silver goblets lying on the floor. At the time I found that strange as the house was not
locked, and they appeared to be valuable - so I took them also.
Later I became aware of
occult/Wiccan activity in the area. An elderly neighbor had alerted me that she had seen "kids
going in there". It finally occurred to be that those two goblets (which are rather like very
simple & small chalices in appearances with no markings) may have been used in some occult
rituals. While I had not overt "proof" of this, an increasing interior prompting kept "telling me"
that this was so.
So I threw them in a
dumpster. That was 3-4 days ago. The moment I returned home, I felt as if a cloud had been lifted
from me. I cannot explain it further. Not only did I feel better inside, my mind was clearer and I
found it much easier to pray..... and have experienced greater & greater joy from it.
Thanks be to God!!! And
thanks to my Guardian Angel for prompting me to dispose of those things!

1. Thank you for recommending Panda software. I have installed it instead of Norton and it
works much faster and better. I had 10 items of ad ware and 6 of "hacker ware" that were
undetected by Norton. Panda is faster, smoother, and surely less obtrusive.
2. Thank you for Public Forum II. I believe this will empower many of your readers to post
their thoughts. You are trying to teach people about God and what better way than for them
to show what they have learned? You have accomplished a lot. As you have pointed out,
you have not cornered the market on divine inspiration and many of your readers have great talents
which they can showcase here and elsewhere. All of us can do great things if we have faith.
3. Thank you for encouraging me to write to the Archbishops. I received the fourth response
from the Archbishop of Newark, NJ. He told me it was "imprudent" to keep adding to the list
of things to pray for. He stated that we pray to protect innocent life and family and he
just cannot keep adding to the list. Of course, if there was ONE THING TO PRAY FOR, IT WOULD
BE TO PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES. I believe anyone can pray for their friends and their
family. Christianity is giving when you do not expect to be repaid.
Why is that so hard for all these people? He will get a reply from me as did the others.
The other dividend reaped from me writing letters is that I started to write far and wide.
Besides going after the Catholic Church, I have gone after columnists and have even written to the
Gov. of Louisiana to recommend the immediate pardon of a man wrongly convicted of murder.
You knew that sooner or later I was going after the system of justice. No time like the
present.

Upon reading this article (*) about Medjugorje, I have
to tell you about the place where I returned to the faith and was strengthened in it at least at
the initial stages sometime during late 2002.
http://www.drcm.org/
is the web site of the Divine Retreat Centre of which I am talking. Fortunately or unfortunately,
I have seen through
the prosperity gospel that they preach. Thanks be to God!
Please follow the following links and you will see a pattern wherein the Bishops and Church are
exalted above
God with the slogan being "that the gates of hell shall not prevail...." stressed at the Divine
Retreat Center.
Worse still, there are at least two preachers at Divine Retreat Center who claim to have found
Jesus through the
Hindu and Islamic scriptures. A search for "Arvindaksha Menon Divine Harmony" will reveal
more.
For my part, I see these as nothing but attempts to bring to fruition the United Religions
Initiative. Next somebody
will get up and say that Jesus was revealed by Buddha, Mahavira, Confucius....
Right now I am in the South Indian city of Coimbatore and I can tell you that what they boast
about the Hindus believing in Mother Mary is nothing but the addition of Mother Mary to their
pantheon of goddesses or devils as they are known here. I even saw an advertisement for "Christmas
Idols" in this city.
Hope this information was of help.
May God Bless Us All at this Lenten Season!
Love in the Lord Jesus Christ!

I think that this is an item for the "unprincipled alliances" file on Opus Dei.
Here's the context. The Blair government is implementing a comprehensive new set of rules to
ban discrimination against gay people in the UK. The most controversial part of the law -
which will go into effect on April 1 - is the requirement that adoption agencies NOT rule out
homosexual couples as adoptive parents. The RCC Cardinal protested this proposal, and said
that if the law passed, the RCC would shut its adoption agencies rather than comply.
Numerous Church of England bishops, including the Archbishop of Canterbury, made statements on
behalf of the RCC, seeking exemption from the anti-discrimination bill for faith-based
agencies. These protests have been unavailing, and the Government is going ahead to enforce
the new laws that it seeks.
One of the members of Tony Blair's government is Ruth Kelly, an OD supernumerary and the Minister
of Communities. She said this about the new regulations (key parts in bold):
"The
Prime Minister has made a statement on the arrangements for the sexual orientation regulations
which will be implemented in April this year. These regulations will provide protection for
individuals from unfair treatment because of their sexual orientation, in relation to goods and
services. This covers, for example, shops and hotels, the delivery of
health and education services and the rental and sale of
premises.
"The
approach on adoption is a positive breakthrough in eliminating discrimination while recognising
the need for a practical approach that ensures the most vulnerable children are found loving
homes. This approach should be welcomed by everyone on what
has been an extremely complex issue. I have met a broad range of those
with a direct interest in these regulations and each has had passionately held views, expressed
with real conviction.
"Two
things are clear. First, that everyone wants to ensure that as a
Government we tackle discrimination and second, no one wants to lose the excellent adoption
expertise that helps some of the most vulnerable children. The package
announced today, gives us the opportunity to meet both of those tests.
"The
transition arrangements will give adoption agencies time to adapt and address how they work
alongside an independent assessment of the process to ensure that the high quality expertise that
exists is not lost. There will be no exemptions on
adoption.
"During
the period up to 2008 we will look to faith based adoption agencies to work with us on how they
might adapt their methods of operation to meet the new legal requirements. An independent team
will be reporting to the Prime Minister on the practicalities of ensuring that the needs of
vulnerable children and their adoptive parents will continue to be met both during the transition
period and thereafter. Clearly listening to the experts on child
welfare and adoption is vital.
"We
have had the debate and heard a range of views - many of them expressed with passion and
conviction. As a result we now have a workable
solution. Good government is about robust debate and finding
solutions that meet our principles in a practical way. This is the
right way forward. I hope that all concerned will now work with us to implement the package we
have announced today. At the end of the day, we all know that there is a wide range of
potential adoptive parents out there, including lesbians and gay men who can provide a loving home
for children.
"This
Government has a proud record on equality and supports a society where every citizen is treated
fairly and with respect. Over the last decade, it is this Government which has done more than any
other to build a decent and cohesive society. Today’s announcement
is a breakthrough that should be welcomed by everyone.”
Concluding
remarks of sender:
So in this case, the Cardinal is saying that the law would force RCC agencies to violate
traditional morality ... and the OD Cabinet member is hailing the same law as a great social
advance.
Either
OD is as anti-gay as ever, but their stance does not affect one of their most prominent members -
OR the cult is changing its stance on the gay issue and its members are following
along.
