PURPOSE

We are now rapidly approaching the End of These Times, which will require everyone to navigate through events that defy human imagination - events which have not taken place in our planet since the time of Creation. Therefore, it is the will of God that we present a brief, but comprehensive assignment of responsibilities for the pending Chastisement, drawing from the individual documents that we have already published in the past.

It is the Will of God that humanity become fully aware that He has not failed us, that the Teachings of His Son have not failed us and that the Catholic Faith - the faith which contains the greatest amount of revealed Divine Truths - has not failed us. God wants the world to be fully aware that the responsibility for the failures which have led humanity to the brink of annihilation is upon the Administrators of the Roman Catholic Church.

INTRODUCTION

Over the years, we have written a series of documents denouncing the lies and abuses of power of the Roman Catholic Church Administration for the last 1,600 years. God then prepared us to write this summary document by leading us to: (a) pore over thirteen hours of even-handed historical documentaries reporting on the first 2,000 years of Christianity; (b) to examine several more hours of historical background on the Crusades; and (c) study the failed attempt, during the reign of Alfonso X of Castile, to - once and for all - give to Caesar what is Caesar's - a supreme ruler over the material world, a Holy Roman Emperor - and to give to God, what is God's - a supreme ruler over the souls of humanity, the Pope of Rome.

It was through this three-prong study of historical events that it became painfully obvious to us how the lies and abuses of power - which we have repeatedly denounced in writing over the years - have been used by the Church Administration to thwart the Evangelical intentions for which Jesus Christ founded His Church.

As the reader reviews and evaluates our Divinely inspired and Scripturally backed claims, he/she must bear in mind that miguel de Portugal believes without a shred of a doubt that:

-  The Catholic Faith is the faith which contains the greatest number of revealed truths, and

-  that the Catholic Faith has reached humanity at this greatest hour of need in spite of the Roman Catholic Church Administration, because

-  even satan must serve God,

-  and God has not abandoned His children to the schemes and lies of the predators at the Vatican.

In the past, we have discussed the alleged Donation of Constantine, according to which Emperor Constantine willed the Roman Empire to the Pope. The lie was of such magnitude that many centuries later Rome had to admit it was a fraudulent document. As it turned out, that was the least of the damaging frauds used by the Roman Catholic Church Administration to take possession and control of the world.

In addition to the Donation of Constantine, the other, very grave frauds are:

(a)  The claim that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, and

(b)  The notion that the Church Christ established rests upon the Rock of Peter, and

(c)  The unofficial - but well disseminated - claim that the Pope of Rome is infallible at all times, and

(d)  The claim that the possessor of the Keys of the Kingdom - supposedly the Pope of Rome - could lock out of Heaven anyone he willed.

All of the above are outright lies: lies which do not have any Biblical support. These falsehoods have been used to, essentially, cause a complete and comprehensive failure of the Evangelization for which Jesus established His Church.

In the following section each of those claims will be examined in the light of the Word of God. At this time, miguel de Portugal, in the Name of God, tells the present Administration of the Church, and all preceding Administrations dating back to the Imperialization of the Church, what Jesus told Peter:

"Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns." [Matthew 16:23]

In summary, here is what went wrong with the Evangelization effort of the Roman Catholic Church:

SECTION 1. Early on, the Church Administration chose to follow Mammon rather than God.

By the time of Pope Innocent III (1198-1216), the Church Administration had - for about 900 years - successfully sought worldly power and wealth, while losing its belief and trust in God Himself. The following legend may not be literal truth, but it tells - with precision - what went wrong:

While Francis of Assisi (1181 - 1226) was trying to secure the approval of Pope Innocent III (1198 - 1216) for his apostolate of poverty to "Repair My Church" as God had asked Francis to do, the following encounter is claimed to have occurred:

After showing Francis the riches amassed by the Church, Pope Innocent III said: "You see, the Church can no longer say: 'Gold and silver have I none'" [Acts 3:6]

To what Francis replied: "True, and neither can she any longer say: '...rise and walk.'" [Acts 3:6]

The Church - and its leaders, the Apostles - had, at its beginning, worked miracles. This was in line with Jesus' promise: "Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these because I am going to the Father". [John 14:12]

As the Church lost the Faith, became a money-making machine, and turned into a part of the Imperial system, miracles became rare - as they were in faithless Nazareth, even when Jesus was staying there: "And he could not do any miracles there, only that he cured a few that were sick, laying his hands upon them. And he wondered because of their unbelief." [ Mark 6:5-6 ]

Therefore, its fate is to be as Jesus described in the Sermon on the Mount: "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing any more but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men." [Matthew 5:13]

SECTION 2. The Church Administration, and its "orthodox, conservative" defenders, dare to blame the decay of the Church and the disastrous state of the world on the Enlightenment and liberalism, rather than facing the Church's own failure to Evangelize as Jesus intended.

Many religious and cultural conservatives, inside and outside the Catholic Church, blame the recent decadence, moral disorder, and loss of political/cultural influence of the churches on the rebellious "Spirit of the Sixties" that corrupted society at large - including the Church after Vatican II. They fail to see that the evil deeds and teachings of the Imperial Church expelled the Holy Spirit centuries ago, such that satan took the lead within the Church Administration. (God allowed this, since even satan has to serve God.)

Instead of blaming the Enlightenment, the radicals, the Freemasons, the liberals, and other external opponents for the ills of the Church and the world, the Church Administration ought to have obeyed - to the letter - the warnings and instructions that Our Lady gave in Her apparitions from 1830 onward. They did not do so; they converted the apparition sites into profit centers instead. By contrast, St. John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Order, proved that Jesus-centered teaching and actions could spread the Faith, and could win the hearts even of the anticlerical rulers in 19th Century Italy.

Given the catastrophic state of the world today, it is blasphemy for Church leaders and apologists to claim that they have carried out the Evangelization as God directed them to do. Through this claim they make the power of evil seem to be greater than the power of God.

SECTION 3. The Cathedral of St. John Lateran provides clear evidence - including ancient relics and medieval architecture - of the evil power that overtook the Church Administration 1,600 years ago.

The spiritual basis for the Church began to fail when Emperor Constantine (and his successors) made Christianity the state religion of the Empire. The die was cast in the mid-700s, when church Administrators concocted the "Donation of Constantine" as the basis for their authority: temporal and spiritual. When, around 1200, St. Francis heeded the call of Christ to "repair My church," the salt of the earth regained its savor for a while - but then the corruption resumed and worsened. Now, the Faith is under final attack, from enemies outside the Church - and more seriously, from "pious" and "holy" enemies within the Church. Nevertheless, God has assured - and will continue to assure, until the End of These Times - that believers can receive and benefit from the truths of the Catholic Faith.

God has allowed physical evidence of the corruption of the Church and the faithlessness of its Administrators to be clearly visible within the walls of the Basilica of St. John Lateran. (This Basilica is built on land donated by Emperor Constantine; it is the oldest and most important of the four Patriarchal Basilicas in Rome, and is known as the "Mother of All Churches").

-  The Basilica, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, contains no significant relics of him. (The most important of his relics are held - and honored - by the Muslim heirs of the Ottoman Empire.)

-  The two most important relics in the Basilica are the heads of the two founders of the Church in Rome, Sts. Peter and Paul. These heads are kept in gold cages above the altar, symbolizing that the Church has become a spiritual captive of its worldly wealth and power.

-  The bishop's throne - which the Roman Pontiff has used for formal pronouncements since the Middle Ages - has as its base a stone pedestal showing four animals: a snake, a bull, a dragon, and a basilisk. All of these are traditional symbols of evil.

SECTION 4. Today, many Christian conservatives yearn for a new, holy Christian regime that will reunite Church and State, cleanse society, and restore virtue and order. In other words, they want pre-1789 "Christendom" to return, under a "Great King" and a "Holy Pontiff". This has not worked before. "Holy Empire" is not - and never has been - pleasing to God. He brought earlier efforts in this direction to nothing; God will do so again - with final and definitive force - if (or when) such a regime is erected again as a counterfeit of Christ's Kingdom.

Mankind has made several attempts to build a "Christian" Tower of Babel since the Roman Empire and the Church entered into an adulterous alliance. Here follows a summary of these efforts, and their doom:

-  Constantine and his successors "Christianized" the Roman Empire after 312, creating what one Catholic historian described as "a totalitarian state, in some ways an oriental despotism" that used force against paganism and heresy. Within 100 years, Rome was sacked by barbarians, and by 476, the Western Roman Empire was dead.

-  The Byzantine Empire survived the fall of the West, and the Emperor Justinian tried to reconquer the lands lost to the barbarians. He failed; plague and disasters devastated the Empire in the mid-500s. Then, their lands in Africa and in most of the Middle East fell to Islamic armies in the 600s and 700s.

-  Catholic apologists describe the 1200s as the "greatest century," the age of saints and cathedrals, the peak of Christian civilization. However, this was also the age of the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the greatest pretensions of the Imperial Papacy. All of Rome's pride, power, and force could not keep medieval Christendom alive. The Black Death, the Great Schism (the era of competing claimants to the Papacy), the Reformation, and the Wars of Religion brought this Empire down.

-  In 1900, the "Christian" powers of the West had conquered the world, and were using the gun and the Bible to subdue their empires. They thought that the world was theirs - until two World Wars, the totalitarian powers, and the revolt of the Third World removed Europe from Great Power status.

All of these "Christian" empires were brought low within a few decades of their peak of pride and power. If mankind tries to erect a global "Christendom" by force, deceit, or the lure of Mammon, the same will occur again, on a world scale, with unprecedented speed and severity.

SECTION 5. As the Church Administrators lost faith in God, they have created a substitute "god," the "infallible" Papacy. For the last 1,600 years, Popes have made claims of authority that have no basis either in Scripture or in a realistic view of their own history. Additionally - especially since Pius IX - most of the Popes (and their courtiers) have created a media-driven cult of personality around the Bishops of Rome, vesting them with a counterfeit aura of sanctity.

*  In 1870, at Vatican Council I, the Holy See decreed "as a divinely revealed dogma" that when the Roman Pontiff "defines a doctrine concerning faith or morals to be held by the whole Church, he possesses, by the divine assistance promised to him in blessed Peter, that infallibility which the divine Redeemer willed his Church to enjoy in defining doctrine concerning faith or morals."

This claim of Papal infallibility is contradicted by Scripture. In Galatians 2:11-14, Paul said that when Peter came to Antioch, Paul "withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed" , because he and Barnabas "walked not uprightly unto the truth of the gospel". Paul "said to Cephas before them all: If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as the Jews do, how dost thou compel the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?" In a matter of faith and morals - whether or not Gentile converts to Christianity must follow Jewish law - the man whom Catholics consider to be the first Pope erred.

Popes did not claim jurisdiction over the whole Church until the time of Pope Leo the Great (440-461). During the first millennium, no Church dispute was ever settled solely by Papal decree.

*  The Vatican has worked diligently to extend its claim of infallibility to the entire structure of Papal and Vatican teaching, the "ordinary Magisterium" of the Church. (In 1997, the Vatican said that canonization of saints is included in its charism of infallibility, as a statement of "dogmatic fact". That's the cover they needed for such travesties as the canonization of Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei.) Furthermore, as the Catechism of the Catholic Church says, the faithful "have the duty of observing the constitutions and decrees conveyed by the legitimate authority of the Church. Even if they concern disciplinary matters, these determinations call for docility in charity." Whether Vatican rulings concern faith, morals, or discipline, Catholics have the duty to obey.

*  From the time of Pius IX onward, Church apologists have worked to create a media cult of personality around the Pope and the Papacy. By the mid-1800s, "the Pope himself became, quite literally, a popular icon. Catholic households from Africa to the Americas were as likely to display a picture of the Pope as a crucifix or a statue of the Virgin, and the face of Pio Nono [Pius IX] was better known than that of any Pope in history." Such veneration apparently went to the Pope's head. When Cardinal Guidi spoke at Vatican I in favor of limiting the scope of Papal infallibility (saying that its use must be assisted by "the counsel of the bishops manifesting the tradition of the churches"), Pius IX reprimanded the Cardinal, saying "I am the tradition." In 2000, John Paul II "infallibly" declared Pius IX to be "Blessed".

*  John XXIII and Paul VI divested the Papacy of some of the courtly pomp and regal trappings that it had inherited - but since the election of John Paul II - and especially under the regime of Benedict XVI - there has been a renewed emphasis on the idolatrous mystique of the Papacy. The occupant of the Holy See is no longer lifted up and carried about on a sedan chair by his footmen; he is lifted up before the whole world by his publicists, with the cooperation of image-hungry media.

*  As the Vatican leads (into idolatry and cultism), Church propagandists and the disoriented faithful follow. Catholic apologist Patrick Madrid says: "We call the Pope 'The Holy Father' because he extends heaven's paternal presence." He adds, "The Lord kept His promise to be with the Church always, and this promise has been kept, par excellence, in the office of the Papacy." At the end of his book-length defense of the Papacy against its critics, Madrid says that Peter "was the first in a two-thousand-year line of bishops of Rome who stand at the center of the Christian Church. In a sense you can say the popes are its center." Do you see the bait-and-switch being done: the substitution of a human ruler for God as the head and center of the Church? In this manner, "The Way" of the False Christ is being prepared.

*  Meanwhile, Benedict XVI has manifested "a mouth speaking great things" [Daniel 7:8, Revelation 13:5] from the beginning of his reign. On the day after his election, Benedict XVI told the Cardinals that during "the death and the funeral of the lamented John Paul II, the entire world looked to him with trust. To many it seemed as if that intense participation, amplified to the confines of the planet by the social communications media, was like a choral request for help addressed to the pope by modern humanity which, wracked by fear and uncertainty, questions itself about the future." Ratzinger put himself forward as the one to answer that "request for help," by reason of his election by God to the Papacy: "If the weight of the responsibility that now lies on my poor shoulders is enormous, the divine power on which I can count is surely immeasurable: 'You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church.' Electing me as the Bishop of Rome, the Lord wanted me as his Vicar, he wished me to be the 'rock' upon which everyone may rest with confidence." This mitered wolf, this false shepherd who has the appearance of a lamb and speaks like a dragon [Revelation 13:11], has anointed himself as "the rock", the one in whom "everyone may rest with confidence".

*  Strong leaders need willing followers. In response to the ongoing decay of Roman Catholic institutions, various Catholic commentators have proposed strict obedience to the hierarchy as the solution. Archbishop Charles Chaput, of Denver, proposed that we follow the thirteenth of the "Rules for Thinking with the Church" offered during the Reformation by St. Ignatius of Loyola: "If we wish to proceed securely in all things, we must hold fast to the following principle: What seems to me white, I will believe black if the hierarchical Church so defines." Such propaganda encourages people to focus on, and follow, the Pope - without considering whether Papal teachings and policies are consistent with the teachings of Christ. This view of authority and obedience is straight out of George Orwell's novel 1984. As the Inner Party inquisitor told Winston, the imprisoned dissident, "Whatever the Party holds to be truth is truth. It is impossible to see reality except by looking through the eyes of the Party." Acceptance of this irrational mind-set prepares the faithful to goose-step off a spiritual cliff.

SECTION 6. For centuries, the Vatican "party line" has been that Peter is the rock upon which the Church is built. This self-serving interpretation of Matthew 16:16-18 is false. Christ named Peter as the head (Cephas) of the Church - but the Rock (Kephas) upon which the Church is built is Christ Himself.

Various Scriptures make it clear that Christ is the cornerstone and foundation of the Church, the everlasting and perfect Rock upon which it is built: Psalm 117:22-23, Isaias 8:13-14, Isaias 28:16, Daniel 2:34-35, Daniel 2:44-45, Matthew 7:24-27, Matthew 21:42-44, Mark 12:10, Luke 20:17-18, Acts 4:10-12, 1 Corinthians 10:4, Romans 9:33, Ephesians 2:20-22, and 1 Peter 2:6-8.

As the original texts were copied from hand to hand, and underwent translation, it appears that editors with a worldly agenda exploited the Cephas ("head") and Kephas ("rock") ambiguity to make Peter, rather than Christ, the Rock upon which the Church stands. This was an early stratagem in a spiritual war that is reaching its climax now, as the Vatican, Opus Dei, and their co-conspirators prepare the way for the False Christ. The Vatican's misuse of Matthew 16:16-18 fits with their promotion of the idea of total Papal Infallibility - another lie that will (in the time of the False Christ) lead many souls to revere satan (in the person of the False Christ) and therefore to fall into perdition.

SECTION 7. The Vatican document Dominus Iesus, which was written under Opus Dei influence and released in the year 2000, is evidence of the failure of the Evangelization over the last 1,600 years.

*  Christ founded the Catholic Church 2,000 years ago, and gave it the Sacraments and all other Divine Assistance necessary to Evangelize mankind, helping a straying humanity return to the Heavenly Father. With such a Divine starting point, it is pathetic that two millennia later:

-  most of mankind is not Christian, and that

-  Christians are divided into countless antagonistic sects, and that

-  the Vatican found it necessary to issue a reminder of the truth that Jesus Christ, true God and true man, is the only means for the salvation of man.

*  God's Providence is not the problem; human arrogance is - and has been, since the beginning of the Church. Long ago, the Church Administrators forgot their appointed task ("we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word", as the Apostles said in Acts 6:4), and sought worldly wealth and power. Instead of honoring God, the hierarchs deified the Church - as if mankind had been created to serve and obey the Church, rather than the Church being founded by God to help mankind return to its Heavenly Home.

*  The authors of Dominus Iesus are more interested in defending the Imperial power and privileges of the Church than in obeying God or in Evangelizing for him. Therefore, the document combines truth with lies in an alluring, spiritually deadly combination. For example, it states that the Catholic Church is the mother of the faithful. In reality, Mary - not the Church - is the Mother of all of us who are members of the Mystical Body of Christ. At the same time, the Papacy is being promoted as "infallible" and "our sweet Christ on Earth" (for one example of this among many, see (8)). The faithful are being led away from Christ and from Our Lady, and are being delivered into the hands of the fallen humans (and worse) who now run the Church Administration. Dominus Iesus propagates the lie that the Church (and membership in it, and obedience to its rulers) is the only way of salvation for mankind; as such, it contributes to binding the faithful and delivering them helpless into the hands of the False Prophet and of the False Christ.

SECTION 8. Christ is, indeed, the only Way of Salvation. This does not give the long-straying institution He established, the Catholic Church, a monopoly on Salvation. Among the organized religions, the Catholic Church teaches the greatest concentration of Divine Truths; nevertheless, there is Salvation outside of the boundaries of the Church.

Because we are approaching the End of These Times, some of the customs that were once appropriate for the Faithful clergy and laity no longer apply:

*  It no longer makes sense to insist that those who are on the way to the fullness of Faith fill out all the paperwork and take all the preparatory classes that have customarily been the prelude to formal entry into the Catholic Church. Jesus' direct promise to the Good Thief, "Amen I say to thee, this day thou shalt be with me in paradise" [Luke 23:43] is the example to follow now. What the repentant thief did to gain this promise from Our Lord - repenting of his sin, accepting the justice of his punishment, acknowledging Jesus as Lord, and asking Jesus for Salvation - is what the penitents and converts of the final days of the current age need to do; it will suffice.

*  It no longer makes sense to pray for the intentions of the Pope, since the seat of the Bishop of Rome is now occupied by the AntiChrist, the forerunner of the False Christ. Pray instead for the intentions of the faithful clergy and bishops, however few or hidden they may be.

*  We would now offer the Body of Christ - the Eucharist - to anyone who understands its reality (the Presence of Christ - Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity - in the consecrated Bread and Wine), and seeks such nourishment to strengthen his/her soul in an effort to abandon any behavior that he/she recognizes as sin.

*  Remember that the Church - like the Sabbath - is made for man; man is not made to be a servant or prisoner of the Church. Christ's teachings on this matter - as stated in Mark 2:27-28, Mark 9:38-41, and Luke 6:3-5 - apply now more than ever.

*  Christ has sent the Holy Spirit to all believers, to act as a Counselor and Comforter. This was prophesied in the Old Testament [Proverbs 1:23; Isaiah 44:3; Joel 3:1-3], promised by Jesus to His Apostles during His ministry [Luke 24:49; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7-15; John 20:21-23] and experienced by the Apostles from Pentecost onward [Acts 2:1-4; Acts 2:16-21; Acts 10:44-48; 1 Corinthians 2:12-14]. This Gift is not the monopoly of any one Church, or of the clergy.

*  Anyone who, in the name of "tradition" or "canon law" or "appearances", interferes with the Salvation of a soul should remember Jesus' warning that "he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea". [Matthew 18:6]

*  People enter the Kingdom of Heaven when they hear - and assimilate into themselves, and begin to apply - the Beatitudes and the related teachings from the Sermon on the Mount [Matthew 5]. This - and not death and "going to Heaven" - is when each soul begins their new, Eternal Life with God. This is when the gates of Heaven open for a soul.

*  Jesus sent the Apostles - the original Shepherds - forth to open the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven to anyone who would heed their teaching and example, becoming doers of Christ's teachings. Unfortunately, when the Church Administrators sold the Church to the world (the Empire of Constantine and his successors), they began to lose the ability to teach and transform souls with the Words of Christ. Their ability to wield the Keys of the Kingdom for the benefit of souls began to disappear, and has been virtually lost in recent centuries.

*  John XXIII called Vatican Council II to repair the Church, to cleanse the Church of the ubiquitous "leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy" [Luke 12:1], and to renew the life of the Church with the leaven of the Kingdom [Matthew 13:33]. Paul VI attempted to continue this separation of Church and Empire - and John Paul I was martyred in 1978 for doing the same. With the murder of John Paul I, the course of the Church was set toward darkness: the domination of Opus Dei and its fanatical allies, and the present reign of AntiChrist, and the pending (brief) rule of the False Christ.

[For more details, see our document "The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven" (10)]

SECTION 9. The current age is ending, now. It is time for the Church (West and East alike) to enter into its final Passion and Death - which will be followed by its Resurrection and Glorification with the Return of Christ in Glory, at the End of These Times. The gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church, but the Mystical Body of Christ must first follow her Savior's path to its end: Passion, Crucifixion, Death, and Burial. Only after this will come its Resurrection.

*  Pope John Paul II confirmed this on Holy Friday in 1999. He departed from his prepared text, and preached from the heart, saying: “Today we would like to put these same words on the lips of all humanity and the end of the second millennium, at the end of the twentieth century. ... We would like to put them on the lips of all those who have been citizens of our twentieth century, of our second millennium. Because these words, this cry of the crucified Christ, does not only closes a life, but it is also an opening." Scripture teaches us that before saying "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit" Our Lord had said "It is fulfilled". Furthermore, after commending His spirit to the Father, His earthly body expired. The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ – and the time has come for her to follow Christ to the end.

*  John Paul II, the last of the lawful successors of Peter, reiterated this when he went to Fatima on May 13, 2000. He said that the time of Tribulation is now: “The Pope honored the many martyrs of the 20th Century, and said, ‘An innumerable cloud of courageous witnesses to the faith have left us a precious heritage which must live on in the third millennium. Here in Fátima, where these times of tribulation were foretold and Our Lady asked for prayer and penance to shorten them, I would like today to thank heaven for the powerful witness shown in all those lives. And once again I would like to celebrate the Lord's goodness to me when I was saved from death after being gravely wounded on 13 May 1981. I also express my gratitude to Bl. Jacinta for the sacrifices and prayers offered for the Holy Father, whom she saw suffering greatly.’” The Pope added that with the beatification of the visionaries of Fátima, “the Church wishes to put on the candelabrum these two candles which God lit to illumine humanity in its dark and anxious hours. ... May the message of their lives live on forever to light humanity's way!” These “dark and anxious hours” for humanity were the present time, from 2000 (the year of the beatification) onward. Thus, the Pope circumvented those who wished to consign Fátima and its Secrets to the past.
