PURPOSE
The purpose of this Guest Document is to keep our readers informed about worldwide natural and man made disasters/catastrophes as they happen. By doing this we also hope to call to the attention of our readers the times that we are living through. The sooner the Elect - who may still be disoriented - realize this reality and act upon it, the less the suffering that they will endure as we approach the End of These Times - NOT of the world but of These Times.
Who Are They?
The Hungarian National Association of Radio Distress-Signalling and Infocommunications (RSOE) operates the Emergency and Disaster Information Service (EDIS) within the frame of its own web site which has the objective to monitor and document all the events on the Earth which may cause disaster or emergency. Their service uses the speed and the data spectrum of the internet to gather information as they monitor and process several foreign organization's data to get quick and certified information.
What Do They Do?
The EDIS web site provides useful information regarding emergency situations and their prevention. Extraordinary events happening in the World are being monitored 24 hours per day. All events processed by RSOE-EDIS are displayed near real time and, for the sake of international compatibility, according to the CAP protocol and REST-API interface on a secure web site. To ensure clear transparency all events - earthquake, fire, flood, landslide, nuclear event, tornado, volcano - are categorized separately in the RSS directory.
They are screening the incoming information and storing in a central database sorted by category. After processing the information they are sending it immediately via e-mail (or other format) to the organizations and persons who have requested it. They strive that the processed data is validated and reliable in all cases, to avoid the possible panic situation caused by unreal information. That is why they keep contact with all organizations which can provide validated information for them, to operate the EDIS.
They have a knowledge database, which contains all necessary information, which can help the citizens in an emergency situation.
