Letters/Questions - Addressed on June 2008

From  IC @ Philippines - Published on June 30th, 2008 [First Martyrs of the Church of Rome]

Brethren,

This article (1) seems to tie up well with what has been revealed so far. A prequel perhaps to Step No. 1. (2)

Yours in Christ.

(2) The Sequence of Events

A. A few "tucks and snips" here and there and it would be "The Script" to trigger it.

From  KD @ US - Published on June 27th, 2008 [Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help]

In reference of a foot note you recently had, and I quote:

miguel de Portugal Comments: Indeed, indeed - no evil force can hinder the Power of God only man can do it.... and so we had Fatima I, World War II,... and next on the agenda is Fatima II....

At this time are you able to elaborate on your statement about Fatima II?

Sincerely,

KD

A. Absolutely!

As we have explained in some of our Fatima Documents (0) - World War II was the direct result of the Roman Church Administration not fulfilling Heaven's request in the time frame indicated. That - World War II was Phase I of Fatima; i.e. Fatima I

There are still Fatima related issues that must be completed regardless of what the deceivers at the Vatican claim. (1)

"To save them [souls of sinners that are going to hell] (2) (3), God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. "...but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one [than World War I] (3) will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI". (Whole Text, in English and Portuguese, may be seen as Item  A in ATTACHMENT II (4))

"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace;..." [Whole Text, in English and Portuguese, may be seen as Item  B in ATTACHMENT II (4)]

"They did not wish to heed my request. Like the King of France, they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars, and persecutions of the Church; the Holy Father will have much to suffer." [Original Text, in English and Portuguese, may be seen as Item  D in ATTACHMENT II (4)]

Only after what we specify in Step No. 1 (5) takes place and beyond - Heaven's request will be fulfilled.  That is Fatima II.

(1) Our position about these "new Temple Masters" - who are no better than the Pharaoh from under whom Moses had to deliver the People of Gods - is quite clear:  They are guilty until proven innocent; They are liars until proven that what was said - on a case by case basis - is the truth. You will see with what disdain we hold them when you see what God will allow to be unleashed upon them. May God have Mercy on them!

From (Mr.) IW @ US - Published on June 24th, 2008 [Birth of John the Baptizer]

Dear MGR Friends and Family,

In reference to your recent posting in Points to Ponder... (1)

In the past 20 years my spirituality has grown thanks to your words and to a book entitled Urantia, a book with otherworldly origins.  If you have time, please review what that publication said about Jesus's utterance of "...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?"  To wit:

During this hour of approaching death the human mind of Jesus resorted to the repetition of many passages in the Hebrew scriptures, particularly the Psalms. The last conscious thought of the human Jesus was concerned with the repetition in his mind of a portion of the Book of Psalms now known as the twentieth, twenty-first, and twenty-second Psalms..... Only a few times did those standing by catch some utterance, such as, "I know the Lord will save his anointed," "Your hand shall find out all my enemies," and "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Jesus did not for one moment entertain the slightest doubt that he had lived in accordance with the Father's will; and he never doubted that he was now laying down his life in the flesh in accordance with his Father's will.

(Mr.) IW

A. Without attempting to make an evaluation of the source you quote based on what you shared with us - what we stated (1) stands as published for it was not a personal opinion.

Perhaps it would become clearer when we publish - should God Wills it - why Jesus had to descend to Hades before His Resurrection.

We thank you for the opportunity to underscore the information published.

Do you ever wonder.... why when Jesus cried out "...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" [Matthew 27:46] is quite appropriate but the Ratzinger utterance:  Why, Lord, did you remain silent? How could you tolerate all this? when visiting the site of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland on May 28, 2005, was a blasphemy?

Because Jesus had to experience all that a human would - except sin and, for a brief moment He had to experience what a human being experiences when he/she feels abandoned by God.

From  KF @ Ireland - Published on June 20th, 2008

Miguel de Portugal (1) speaks with the spirit of Truth.

+ The 'smoke of satan' has reached the top of the church; (2)
+ The self-appointed Ratzinger enthroned himself as "pope benedict xvi"; (2)
+ The three popes prophecy of Garabandal is absolutely true; (3)
+ POPE JOHN PAUL II was the LAST true pope! (3)

This papacy has publicly lied about the third secret of Fatima (4) (which refers to the masonic infiltration of the church and the worldwide apostasy which would come from WITHIN the church). Ratzinger and the many cardinals he has promoted (Sodano, Levada (5), Law (6) et al) are the very ones who have worked to discredit Fatima and Garabandal and have allowed apostasy, heresy  and scandal (7) to plague the church.

Just like the pharisees who crucified JESUS these men serve only lucifer in their pretended piety; that which appears as a lamb (8) is in reality a wolf!

Many supposedly faithful catholics would rather be deceived (9) than accept the truth... and if they do not know by now that the deceiver - the lamb that will become a wolf - is - on the throne then they cannot (WILL not) escape GOD'S justice (9) no matter how pious or faithful to catholicism they imagine themselves to be; and besides they have no oil for their lamps.

KEEP THE FAITH; HOLD FAST TO THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS, THE DOCTRINES AND DOGMAS OF THE ONE HOLY APOSTOLIC CHURCH (10). BUT BE WARNED... THE DECEIVER IS ON THE THRONE! (2) IT MAY LOOK AT TIMES LIKE A LAMB BUT IT WILL BECOME A WOLF.

WAIT AND SEE! (11)

KF

A. You have summarized the situation quite well.

By means of this response we encourage the Faithful to review the footnotes that we have added to your letter. Even if said documents have been read before it is a very good idea to do so again. The world stage continues to change and, logically, more will be seen in those documents now than when they were originally reviewed.

I need to know what "SINS" a catholic wife commits when she leaves her husband takes him to court (During the Holy season of Lent),
accuses him of Domestic Violence, wins 40% of his estate, some 150000 $, after 13 years of marriage, just in two and a half months of court action.

The first part of the court case was the Domestic Violence charge - it was thrown out of court. She never paid one cent to the already prepared home.

I am praying hard for her while reading from The encyclical Rerum novarum, "The right of private property"

It seems My Rights have not been considered by a "Feminist Law"

AQ

A. Civil Law aside and focusing on Divine Law, as you have requested - based on you statements - this is how we see it:

a. If there was no Domestic Violence - Broken Commandment:

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour. - From Exodus 20:2–17

Neither shall you bear false witness against your neighbour. - From Deuteronomy 5:6–21

b. If the house was yours before the marriage - Broken Commandment:

You shall not steal. - From Exodus 20:2–17

Neither shall you steal. - From Deuteronomy 5:6–21

Of course, item b. depends on many other financial factors. For example - You may have had the house when you married her, but she brought in more than enough funds into the marriage to justify the 40 % share of the estate; and there could be others.

However, regarding item a., if there was no domestic violence, is quite serious which, in turn is multiplied by the fact that you were "more than a neighbor".

Of course, we also have Mark 10:12 :  And if the wife shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

What would concern us the most, does not since you have stated, and we believe you, "I am praying hard for her..."  and that is what God expects His children to do.

We will pay for both of you.

From  AH @ USA - Published on June 16th, 2008

Just wanted to ask....  The last item I've received from Miguel was on May 30th and had the Subject of: A serious warning about a "Eucharistic" hologram.

Did he go on vacation?  I'm on the very select list. I don't know if there is a problem in receiving his messages.

Please let me know.

God's peace to you.

AH

A. No, miguel is not on vacation. The next vacation miguel will be taking will probably be the final one.

This is what has happened. Back on May 9th we issued the following e-mail to most of our Main List:

May the Peace of God be upon you as we approach the Feast of Pentecost!

As you may recall early in December 2007 - after prayerful mediation - we concluded thus:

Through the Grace of God and with the earthly assistance of a dear member of The M+G+R Foundation family, we have finally found a way to help those who want to help us.... To do so..

The product of this effort may be found at:  Donate

Mercifully we received fifteen responses, however, viewed in the light that most of those in our List have been with us for some time, the response was disappointing.

After a polite wait of five months, we had no choice but to conclude that such lack of response could only mean that what we provide, in the Name of God, is not even worth a negative written response. If that was the case - the last thing we would want to do is inconvenience anyone any further with frequent mailings - although we would continue the usual postings.

Therefore, we reorganized our lists.  The Main List remained unchanged and you should have received mailings sent out to that list.  As time permits, we will send again to you, and anyone who has not received a mailing to the Main List since May 30th and requests it, what may be lacking.

Thank you for the opportunity to clarify this issue in the Private Forum.

In reference to your recent mailing whereas the author of the forwarded column titled The thriving Catholic Church vs. the (slowly) dying 'catholic church' defined the "thriving Catholic Church" and the "dying catholic church"....

Your message  (1) really made the light dawn for me.

Now I understand why I have always felt that I am too liberal for "the conservatives" -- yet too conservative for "the liberals."

This is true for me in religion, politics, and daily life in general.

I end up feeling very alone, like a square peg looking for a round hole.

Finally, you have helped me to understand why.

Many thanks,

SA

(1) The mailing....

May the Peace of God be upon you!

We are forwarding excerpts of the latest gem from Mr. Abbott (2) as a matter of sharing with you the widespread level of blindness that continues to permeate amongst Catholicism.

After reviewing his compartmentalization, we must presume then that the well known position of miguel de Portugal and that of anyone who may share his alleged "Alternate Reality"  belongs neither to the "thriving Catholic Church" nor the "dying Catholic Church" - we must then be the constituency of the "Elect Catholic Church".

We thank Mr. Abbott for helping us find "our niche".

For those who are not familiar with the Faith inclinations of Mr. Abbott - he is a member of an Opus Dei ran parish but of course, he is not a member of the sect....

Many continued Blessings!

Your Family at The M+G+R Foundation

A. Your communication exemplifies one of the key reasons for which we exist and is perfectly coherent with the reality only a few can now understand.  Once you  belong to the "Elect Catholic Church", to use a newly coined term, your entire outlook changes because you no longer speak the same language as the majority - any more than Jesus spoke the same language of the majority of practicing Jews of his time - the "conservatives" and the "liberals" alike.

We, of course, experience that feeling all the time which is mercifully tempered by the positive reaction of the Matthews and Zacheus of today.

Example No. 1 - We wrote a document placing homosexuality in its appropriate Biblical Perspective (3). To counter it, the validity of the Holy Scriptures would have to be rescinded. That document was the most powerful tool the homosexual community would ever have to counter "Bible thumping gay bashers".  Did it get far in the homosexual community? Of course not!  Why? Because we said that homosexuality was not the norm.

Example No. 2 - We wrote a document (4) showing  - straight out of the Qur'an (Koran) - that the prophet Mohammed key teachings were: To Jews - pay attention to Jesus; To Christians - come back to the basic teachings of Jesus from which you have grievously drifted away.    That document should have been the fundamental work for a rapid harmonizing between Christians and Muslims - yet, it was ignored. Why? Because we were not bashing Muslims - and who wants peace, anyway?  Peace is not profitable to those who make money out of the misery in humanity.

Example No. 3 - We wrote a document (5) showing that, indeed, the  Bishop of Rome, having been John Paul II the last one (6), is the visible head (Cephas) of the Catholic Church.  That office, as the American saying goes, is where "the buck stops".  In any organization someone has to have the final word - and the Catholic Church is no different. Now, from being the head of the Church to being the "rock upon which the Church rests" there is an insurmountable chasm - the same chasm that exists between reality and fiction. Why a document fully supported by the rock of the Holy Scriptures is not accepted? Because as we have explained elsewhere - that IS a requirement for the manifestation of the False Christ (7).

Example No. 4 - We endorse the right of same gender couples to become a civil unity with all civil rights inherent to couples of different genders. However, we do not endorse calling it a "marriage" since "marriage" is a Biblical institution (8) and the Biblical union between two members of the same gender is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures. As far as many homosexuals are concerned we might as well be against it since we will not call it a "marriage" and, furthermore, we exclude, for anthropological laws - established by God when he Created the Universe - adoption of babies and youngsters by same gender couples.

We can go from example to example for pages.

You and the rest must understand that we all speak the language of the Kingdom of God - a language that cannot be understood unless you are a citizen of that "nation" whose location was described by Jesus thus: My kingdom is not of this world. [John 18:36]

Yes... on a physical plane (we are not talking romantic) it can be very, very lonely... but on a spiritual plane it always is "standing room only" when you consider the crowd of saints and angels that are around you all the time cheering you on.

Thank you for the opportunity to address these matters in a larger forum than mailings to our Specially Selected List can reach.

From (Mr.) IW @ USA - Published on June 9th, 2008 [Mary, Mother of Grace]

In reference to your recent mailing -

Before this upward move on the oil price, the 95 octane gasoline was selling in many European Union nations at around $8.00 (US dollars) per gallon. The "Masters of the World" know that Europeans - many of EU citizens have lower average incomes than folks in the US - have accepted a very high price for gas in comparison with what was being paid in the US.

They also know that in the US the citizens are more subdued than their EU counterparts who, at the drop of a hat go on a public and destructive rampage.

Therefore - the "Masters of the World" know that they can easily push the oil price as high as needed to yield an average US price, for 95 octane gas, of about $8.00 (US dollars) per gallon without causing a major public uproar in the US.

Therefore - if we were playing with oil futures  we would figure out what oil price will yield 95 octane gas price of about $8.00 (US dollars) per gallon and bet on it.

If the Powers assume that the US public will accept gas prices of up to $6-8 gallon peacefully, they may be right.  But given the current relationship between US and European gas prices, that would translate into gas at $10-12/gallon over there.

Europeans are already starting to strike and riot over current prices; I would think that a 50% increase over current levels would take them to the edge of revolution.  (The only way around this would be for the price in euros to stay stable and for the price in dollars to soar ... as would occur if the dollar crashes against the euro.)

In any case, widespread riots, civil wars, and leftist revolutions in Europe would seem to fit the Schedule quite well.

(Mr.) IW

A. We need to add a clarifying note.

For a relaxing change of pace we did some "number crunching" to see how oil price increases have compared to gas price increases in the US and Spain. We took semi-official average prices on-line and made the appropriate correction for the drop in dollar in relation to the euro. Using mid 2007 and mid 2008 numbers, this is what it looks like:

While the world oil price rose 106 %, the gasoline price rose in the US by 37 % while in Spain it rose by 59 %. What we meant - without explaining it - was that the increase in the US gas price may be steeper in the future than it will be in Spain, using it as an example, as the "World Masters" play catch up with the price increase in the US.

Of course, what you say about rioting in Europe as the price continues to rise, is correct and will be manifested on a regional basis since there is such a wide range of gas prices and incomes from one country to another. Although the public image projected of the European Union looks like the US, where each country functions as a State of a certain Union, the on-the-ground reality could not be further from that.

We used Spain at $7.23 US/gallon while the European Union average is $8.70 US/gallon; then you have the enormous disparity of average income from one country to another. For example - the gasoline is Portugal is about 20 % higher than in Spain while the minimum wage is about one third of that in Spain. Therefore - as all of that is factored in - a $7.23 US/gallon charge in Spain may "feel like" $15-20 US/gallon in Portugal.

We have drifted from our Charter but, as we said at the beginning, we did it as a "relaxing change of pace".

For an interesting and very current article on the gas situation in Europe Click Here.

P.S. Of course interesting things always "happen on the way to the forum", so to speak. The gasoline price rose in Spain 51 % from 2005 to 2008 while the price of oil rose 168 % in the exact same period.  Remember that we stated above that between 2007 and 2008 the gas price in Spain rose 59 % while the oil price rose for that exact period 106 %.  When one considers that the period 2005 - 2008 encompasses 2007 - 2008 and look at those official numbers.... perhaps is time to have some tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter in Wonderland....

In reference to Gorbachev and the New World Order (1) - I came across this article written in 2003 (2).  The battle lines seem to be drawn with the Dollar against the Euro and US-Great Britain-Canada-Australia against France-Germany-Russia.

From M McK @ USA - Published on June 1st, 2008

I received this in an email.  Is it true about the Hebrew tradition?

Why did Jesus fold the linen cloth after His resurrection?

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which  was  placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave
  clothes....

 Is it really significant?  Yes!

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day.  The folded napkin
had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition....

 ...The folded napkin meant,

 "I'm coming back!"

 He is Coming Back!

M McK

A. Well, we know that He IS coming back - and soon! However, we are far from being experts on Hebrew customs, therefore we looked into it and this is what we found at Truth Or Fiction (1)

The Message in the Neatly Folded Napkin in Jesus' Tomb-Fiction!

The Truth:
There are a couple of problems with this eRumor.  One is the translation or interpretation of the Bible verse quoted.  The other is the alleged Jewish custom referenced in the story.

The Verse
The eRumor is based on whether the cloth was a "napkin" and was "folded" in the empty tomb of Jesus.

The story is based on the account of Jesus' resurrection in John 20:7.

Here is how that verse is translated in one of the most widely-used versions of the Bible, the King James Version:
"...and the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself."

We checked seven of the most respected translations of the Bible to see how the translators handled this verse.

Three of them translated the cloth as a "napkin" (King James, American Standard, Revised Standard Version).  Others translated it as a "burial cloth" (New International Version), a "handkerchief" (The New King James Version), or a "face-cloth" (New American Standard Bible).   The Greek word is saudarion, which comes from a Latin word for "sweat."  It connotes, for example, a towel for wiping sweat.  It is used in the Greek for a towel or cloth, but not specifically a table napkin.

The other key word is "folded."  Was the burial cloth or napkin left folded in the tomb?

Two of the translations used the word "folded" (New International Version, New King James Version).  Others translated the word as "rolled up" (New American Standard Bible, American Standard Version, Revised Standard Version), or "wrapped together" (King James Version).
The Greek word is "entulisso," which is from words that may mean to twist or to entwine.

The bottom line is that there is not agreement that it was a table napkin and not agreement that it was neatly folded in any meaningful way.  The main meaning of John 20:7 is to convey that the cloth, which was placed over Jesus head or face at burial, was separate from the rest of his grave clothes.

The Story
We have checked numerous Bible study sources and have found nothing about this alleged Jewish custom of the folded napkins.  We did not find any Bible scholars who have used this story and illustration about the meaning of the folded napkin.

Additionally we talked with a Jewish rabbi friend of TruthOrFiction.com's who has been a life-long Orthodox Jew, a Jewish scholar, and lives in Jerusalem, Israel, and he said he'd never heard of it

The only references to this story that we found are from Internet postings and emails that seem to have originated in 2007.

From Y DM @ USA - Published on May 30th, 2008 [Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus]

My Dear Miguel de Portugal,

In reference to your recent mailing about the Hologram of the Eucharist - After praying to the Holy Spirit, I decided (by Divine Prompting) to answer you. I am talking to you like I talk to my beloved brother.

I went to the website & read the entire thing, including the FAQ's. The author is very clear about how this is a simple thing, similar, but better than, a hold card. He (or she) is quite emphatic that this little thing does NOT replace Eucharist Devotion.

I clearly feel that you should reconsider your viewpoint. Why?

First, do you read the entire website? (very short). 2nd., how can you think that anyone who truly loves the Dear Jesus, & is able to go to Eucharist Adoration, would cease to do so because they have a dime sized sticker in their wallet?!!!

I know how powerful holograms are. Several years ago I went to Elyria, Ohio & The dear Blessed Mother apparently entertains her children with one at midnight. Everyone was impressed but me. I had NO spiritual feelings whatsoever, in fact I had very negative feelings. I felt the same way when I went to hear Evan ( of Medj.) speak, although I didn't feel that way when I went to Medjugorge in 1988 & again in 1999.

I'm not sure where, but somewhere in Scripture, it says that those who wish or allow themselves to be deceived will be.

So, after that in Ohio, it is a short hop to Jesus in the Sky, Mahdi, Budda or anyone else "they" decide to make appear.

Love to you & yours, Fiat

Y DM

A. We thank you for writing and expressing your views.

We stand corrected on the issue that the hologram of the Eucharist is not intended as a replacement for the Real Presence.

Perhaps we focused more on the background the Site promoting (1) it than in the explanations given in the FAQ.

If what we want is to have a realistic image of Jesus in a very convenient, realistic and inconspicuous format, we would agree that a hologram of  a beautiful image (2) of Jesus would be quite commendable.

The spiritual eyes cannot see Jesus in a hologram of a consecrated host while the physical eyes can see an inspiring image of Jesus with its positive spiritual consequences.

Our  general recommendation remains in place with the specific retraction made above.
