Points to Ponder About

October 2005

Previous Month Next Month Archive

The purpose of Points to Ponder About was to stimulate thinking that would draw the disoriented Faithful back to God and away from the hypocritical duplicity of some religious institutions which are destroying the little faith left on earth. (For a more detailed explanation, see Points to Ponder About - Purpose). What used to be posted in this section has been integrated in For Your Information and Reference.

Note: This 'Point to Ponder About' section was prepared in the years 2005-2009. Some linked documents external to this domain may have been removed from the Net, or moved to different locations, since then.

Do you wonder... where are the Saints that we Catholics pray seeking their intercession if the Second Resurrection [Rev. 20:14] has not taken place yet?

They are in Heaven because Heaven is in Eternity and Time and Eternity coexist while Time marches on. View Time as "Eternity in Progress". For more details on Time and Eternity review our document entitled What is "Time and Eternity"? and "Understanding the Existing Confusion About the Apocalypse"

Do you wonder... why sects continue to promote corporal punishment as a means to attain holiness and control their sinful natures?

Perhaps they have not yet reached the part in the New Testament when the method is clearly explained by Paul:

And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted overmuch. Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [ 2 Corinthians 12: 7-9 ]

Or perhaps - since Divine Grace is the requirement - they just have to use other techniques.

Do you wonder... why man keeps placing his complete trust in technology?

Have you noticed what happened as the result of Katrina and Rita? What happened as the result of earthquakes in Kashmir? The floods in Central America? The tsunami in S.E. Asia? Do you realize that not even in cutting edge technology US preparations nor response for the hurricanes were even adequate?

Check into the news services worldwide and you will see that the crisises are still "open" in all of those areas. We may still lose as many human beings in the Kashmir area as the result of no proper response than to the earthquake itself.

In the meantime - take a look at some suggestions that we have made regarding unexpected events in our lives such as... "Miss Wilma" knocking at your door.

Do you wonder... why the Book of Enoch fell on disgrace, to the point of being labeled heretical by the Roman Catholic Church, at the beginning of the ninth century when the canonical Epistle of St. Jude, in verses 14, 15, explicitly quotes from the Book of Enoch [the citation is found in the Ethiopic version in verses 9 and 4 of the first chapter]?

Do you wonder... why only 197 of every 1000 visitors to our Board downloaded a key (to their spiritual and physical well being) document - The Return to "Christendom" : The State and Church Alliance - A False Hope For the Faithful and whenever we publish something about the Planet "X" or some sort of "Secret" the readers flock to read them by droves while ignoring yet other very, very serious documents?

For the same reason tabloids always outsell serious and reliable newspapers.
