News Commentaries of June 2004

PURPOSE

The purpose of this News Commentary Section is to assist the faithful in recognizing the signs and lies of These End Times. Somehow, many self appointed Shepherds of These Times are trying to convince the faithful that the Apocalypse will be, using street slang, "a piece of cake" for them and "hell" for all others. They are led to believe that if they"do this" and "do that" they do not have a thing to worry about (of course, so long as that between the "do this" and the "do that" they send in a donation).

Others lead the faithful to believe that "All Is Well" and will continue to be, of course, as long as those donations keep coming in...

Wrong! For either case scenario to be true, the Old and New Testament has to be invalid. Logically, if the Holy Scriptures are invalid there is no use for "Shepherds", is there? So what is their function besides collecting money?

Spending it, of course!

Now, let us focus on the real world and the news about its structures, philosophies and half-baked theories crumble. With the assistance of the Holy Spirit of God, Who cannot be falsified, the disoriented faithful will be able to understand what is truly taking place and why.

NEWS - June 23, 2004 - Cardinal Says Denying Communion May Hurt

Excerpts from article by RACHEL ZOLL, AP Religion Writer

The head of a U.S. bishops' task force studying Roman Catholics in public life told fellow bishops that withholding Holy Communion from politicians or others could hurt the church in its efforts to stop abortion and euthanasia, according to documents released Wednesday.

But Washington Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, the task force leader, and a top Vatican (news - web sites) cardinal who advised him, also indicated that the sacrament could be withheld under some circumstances.

McCarrick made the comments during the bishops' closed-door spiritual retreat last week in suburban Denver. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops disclosed details of the task force presentation Wednesday.

"Disciplinary actions are permitted," McCarrick said. "But they should be applied when efforts at dialogue, persuasion and conversion have been fully exhausted."

Praised Be Jesus! This is the most logical statement we have heard from an internally influential figure of the Roman Catholic Church about this issue.

As far as we are concerned, McCarrick's position is as close to the principles that we recently published regarding similar situations, as a Church official can publicly assume.

Brothers and sisters, keep on praying; it really works!

NEWS - June 18, 2004 - Russia Warned U.S. About Iraq, Putin Says

Washington Post - Saturday, June 19,2004; Page A11

Russian President Vladimir Putin said yesterday that his intelligence service had warned the Bush administration before the U.S. invasion of Iraq that Saddam Hussein's government was planning attacks against U.S. targets both inside and outside the country...

"After Sept. 11, 2001, and before the start of the military operation in Iraq, the Russian special services, the intelligence service, received information that officials from Saddam's regime were preparing terrorist attacks in the United States and outside it against the U.S. military and other interests," Putin said, according to RIA Novosti, the Russian news agency. "American President George Bush had an opportunity to personally thank the head of one of the Russian special services for this information, which he regarded as very important," the Russian president told an interviewer while in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.

Refreshing Our Collective Memory on the part of the Secret of Fátima which has been published for decades already:

"To save them God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. "...but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one [than World War I] will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russian will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she [Russia] will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church..." It is obvious that Russia has not stopped spreading its errors (nor it will until its long term objective is fulfilled - Step No. 1).

We have said it before and say it again - the U.S. government intelligentsia is no match for those who plot to bring down the only Super Power left. We have warned, directly and indirectly but arrogance blinds and the U.S. is relentlessly being delivered to Step No. 1 and poor President Bush, being played "like a fiddle", is fully cooperating with those dark forces without realizing it.

NEWS - May 23, 2004 (Zenit.org) - John Paul II Cautions About Factions Within Church - Code: ZE04052302

VATICAN CITY, MAY 23, 2004.- One of the essential missions of a bishop is to address the "worrisome phenomenon"of factions within the Church, says John Paul II.

"As in any family, the Church's internal harmony can at times be challenged by a lack of charity and the presence of conflict among her members," the Pope said Saturday when meeting with U.S. bishops from the ecclesiastical provinces of San Antonio and Oklahoma City.

"This can lead to the formation of factions within the Church which often become so concerned with their special interests that they lose sight of the unity and solidarity which are the foundations of ecclesial life and the sources of communion in the family of God," the Holy Father said.

Lord Have Mercy! How could the Faithful not be confused! It even sound as if H.H. John Paul II were.

He states: "... factions within the Church... can lead to the formation of factions within the Church which often become so concerned with their special interests that they lose sight of the unity and solidarity..."

It is he - or appears to have been him.... appearances are deceiving - who has promoted The Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei, The Neo-Catechumenal Way, The Legionnaires of Christ, Regnum Christi, etc., etc. Groups which are beyond "factions" since they seem to exhibit all the marks of "sects" by linguistic and anthropologically measurements. To the point that a Belgian Parliamentary Commission grouped the Opus Dei together with other Sects.

As we have said before and will continue to say until the end, the longer H.H.John Paul II allows himself to be used by special interests within the Church Administration, the greatest the harm that he will bring upon the magnificent work of his early Pontificate.
