Manipulates News Events to Fit Their Agenda

PART 1 - How the News Web works

PART 2 - The News Empire

• The International Business Times (IBTimes) and Newsweek
• United Press International
• News World Communications
• United Press International (UPI), Tiempos del Mundo, etc.

PART 1 - How the News Web works

We will use as an example how the Natural News branch of the Unification Church manipulated their news (6) about Hurricane Harvey.

In their report they attempt to convince the reader that hurricane Harvey was engineered. That is, someone using highly advanced technology, engineered the weather to cause hurricane Harvey. In reality, what is really well engineered is the composition of said article.

It turns out that the first two external links and the last three external links of the article are all pointing to websites controlled by the organization behind Natural News. Let us see:

First link:

"Al Gore and the climate alarmists directly tell us that we created Hurricane Harvey and all the other “extreme” weather events anyone sees."

points to climatealarmism.news

Second link:

"...weather modification and geoengineering have become popular, alternative explanations for significant weather events."

points to geoengineering.news

Third and second link from the end:

"And don’t forget the “Russia! Russia! Russia!” conspiracy theory that’s been pushed by the fake news media for the last 18 months, based on absolutely nothing but faked sources and shoddy journalism."

one is pointing to newsfakes.com
and the other to journalism.news

Last link:

"Mainstream medicine is a corruption racket shrouded in fake science and media propaganda."

points to fakescience.news

As we explore the above five referred websites, we see in all of them:

(a) The same recognizable pattern and structure of "news site" manufactured by the Natural News organization - a pattern/structure which we could call "satellite news site of Natural News"

(b) Always the same authors of the Natural News "team": Mike Adams, Amy Goodrich, Ethan Huff, Isabelle Z., JD Heyes, D. Samuelson, Vicki Batts, etc.

So, there is no doubt that Natural News and the five above mentioned news sites are part of the same organization.

As we have shown above, their five links are the best positioned in the article. But the worst is that there is no explicit declaration (or at least visible for the common reader) stating the affiliation of the pointed sites to Natural News or the organization behind. Their readers will naturally (but wrongly) think that such sites are independent news sites supporting the same "news", theories or ideas.

To finish the job, the sentences around the links are craftily selected to appeal very precise emotions in their target audience: rage and distrust towards the established order and blindly adherence to whichever alternatives are proposed. - An aim perfectly consistent with that of Moon's Unification Church, the organization behind Natural News.

And they have the insolence to present themselves as standard-bearers against "the fake news"!

In such a manner they express themselves at the concluding sentence of the article:

"... make up your own mind and don’t let the establishment tell you what’s true, because the establishment is lying to you about almost everything."

This is really a job of precise psychological engineering!

PART 2 - The News Empire

The Washington Times

From Source (6) (dated 2005):

The Washington Times proved to be the essential vehicle for Moon's courtship of the North Korean dictatorship, which commenced in earnest in 1992 with a celebration of the dictator's birthday.

..... How has all this affected North Korea coverage in Moon's newspaper? These days [article dated 2005], The Washington Times promotes a hard editorial line on the "gulag state." The editorials are skeptical about negotiating with Kim Jong-Il. For a staunchly Republican media outlet, any other stance would be surprising (although the paper departs from its usual right-wing orthodoxy to run op-ed articles urging flexibility toward the North). But it is strange to read editorials denouncing China for providing food aid to North Korea, while the paper allows Moon front groups connected with Pyongyang to operate from its own building."

..... Indeed, Moon's relationship with the North Korean regime continues to expand today [article dated 2005]. He maintains a deluxe hotel in Pyongyang and is pursuing other ventures.

and

To Moon, his daily newspaper serves as a crucial instrument of propaganda and intelligence. "With The Washington Times at the core, we are establishing preeminence in the American print media," he once said. "By doing so, we can include all fields of intelligence. Today we [are] continually gaining important confidential information, not only from America but also from other governments all over the world."

From Source (7) (dated 2012):

In later years [article dated 2012], the church [Unification Church] built a business empire that included the Washington Times newspaper, the New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan, Bridgeport University in Connecticut, as well as a hotel and a car plant in North Korea.

..... Moon began rebuilding his relationship with North Korea in 1991, when he met the country's founder, Kim Il Sung, in the eastern industrial city of Hamhung. ..... He [Moon] added that he heard Kim tell his son: "After I die, if there are things to discuss pertaining to north-south relations, you must always seek the advice of President Moon."

The International Business Times (IBTimes) and Newsweek

IBT Media is the company who publishes International Business Times (abbreviated, IBTimes) and, from 2014, also Newsweek.

According to several sources:

(a) IBT Media and its co-owners Etienne Uzac and Johnathan Davis are intimately connected to Olivet University - a university founded in South Korea and USA whose flagship college is Olivet Theological College and Seminary - and to Olivet's founder David Jang. (8) (9) (10)

(b) The Korean American professor and charismatic pastor who founded Olivet University, David Jang, was involved with Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church for many years. (8) (9) (11) In addition, Sun Myung Moon was an occasional mentor of David Jang. (8)

United Press International (12)

In 2000, UPI was purchased by News World Communications, an international news media company founded in 1976 by Unification Church leader Sun Myung Moon.

News World Communications (13)

News World Communications is the media arm of Moon’s Unification Church.

The Holdings are:

Newspapers and Magazines

GolfStyles Magazine
Middle Eastern Times
The Segye Ilbo (South Korea)
The Sekai Nippo (Tokyo)
Tiempos del Mundo (Online Only)
The World and I

Wire Service

United Press International (UPI)

Others (which have changed format or have been absorbed by others in the group)

Tiempos del Mundo (14)

Tiempos del Mundo was a Spanish-language print newspaper that started publication in Washington, D.C. in 1996 by News World Communications, an international news media corporation owned at the time by the Unification Church of Sun Myung Moon. The online website was then eventually merged with UPI.com, the website of United Press International.

Insight on the News (15)

It was owned by News World Communications, an international media conglomerate founded by Unification Church founder Sun Myung Moon. Ceased publication: 2004 (print), 2008 (online).

CONCLUSION

As it should now be obvious to all, the Unification Church News Empire seems to have covered all bases once we include FETCH.news. (3) It will be very hard for a politician and/or a major business not to be influenced by whatever is the Unification Agenda.

As we have said elsewhere... There is only one other unified Sect that could be compared with the Unification Church sect and that is Escriva's brainchild: Opus Dei.

Given their many similarities regarding the manipulation of the masses and their mindset to bring to the world the Messiah, as well as the Opus Dei allying themselves with anyone (16) they can use to advance their agenda (17), we would not be surprised that they are working together at some levels. What the Unification Church does not know is that when they cannot be used by the Opus Dei any more, they will be neutralized - just as the The Legionnaires of Christ (18) were.
