Have you heard that.... the Supreme Court on Monday struck down, on First
Amendment grounds, a California law that banned the sale of violent video games to children?

The 7-to-2 decision was the latest in a series of rulings protecting free speech, joining ones on
funeral protests, videos showing cruelty to animals, and political speech by corporations.
In a second decision Monday, the last day of the term, the court also struck down an Arizona campaign finance law as a violation of the First Amendment.
Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for five justices in the majority in the video games decision, Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association, No. 08-1448, said video games were subject to full First Amendment protection.
"Like the protected books, plays and movies that preceded them, video games communicate ideas - and even social messages - through many familiar literary devices (such as characters, dialogue, plot and music) and through features distinctive to the medium (such as the player's interaction with the virtual world)," Justice Scalia wrote. "That suffices to confer First Amendment protection."

about, for those whose "customs" allow it (2), pederasty video games? After
all, it can be argued by those insane minds that if those bent on pederasty "get it out of their
system" virtually with video games, they will do it less in reality, thus "saving countless
children".
We could go on for pages, but what for? Most of our readers are wise and illuminated enough that they can imagine what else we will use to demonstrate the reality this most grave error.
In the religious, moral and social sense, the world is now an expired society, a collapsed civilization. If today were not the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul, the Gospel would have been that of Wednesday of the 13th Week of Ordinary time - Matthew 8: 28-34.
In said Gospel, we read about Jesus expelling demons from two men of the country of the Gerasenes who were possessed. As you may recall, the demons went "... into the swine, and behold the whole herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea: and they perished in the waters." You may also recall how the locals reacted to this marvel "...when they saw Him, they besought Him that He would depart from their coasts."
Never mind that the "...two that were possessed with devils, coming out of the sepulchres, exceeding fierce, so that none could pass by that way." were liberated from satan and no longer posed a threat to the locals.
As you may see - nothing has really changed regarding men's choices from Before Christ, to During Christ, to After Christ: Men will choose Mammon over God even if doing so presents a physical threat to them. Any animal will avoid whatever poses a threat to their safety; yet, men, devoid of the Spirit of God and manipulated by satan makes the irrational choice.
The real problem is when those who claim to be the successors of Sts. Peter and Paul live by those rules too.

Have you heard that.... laws, passed in six states in little more than a year,
ban abortions at the 20th week after conception, based on the theory that the fetus can feel
pain at that point? (1)
Opponents of abortion say they expect that discussion of fetal pain - even in the face of
scientific criticism — will alter public perception of abortion, and they have made support for
the new laws a litmus test for Republicans seeking the presidency.
“The purpose of this type of bill is to focus on the humanity of the unborn child,” said Mary Spaulding Balch, director of state legislation for the National Right to Life Committee. “Fetal pain is something that people who are in the middle on the abortion issue can relate to.”

Now, the opposite camp will probably come up with a counter-offer (to get around this "innovative", “pro-life” spin), to anesthetize the fetus so that he/she can be aborted any time up to birth.
This spinning of the theology of abortion reminds us of John Paul II's categorizing pederasty as a crime against customs. (2)
To summarize the spinning of the theology of abortion and pederasty – and God’s response to such twisted thinking:
(a) For the secular politicians, the "theology" of abortion seems to hinge on the number of votes either side can obtain as they spin the issue. In reality, God never accepts abortion under any circumstances whatsoever, even if the mother’s life is in danger.

It is amazing how fortunate the pedophile priests (and the hierarchs involved in the cover ups)
are. If the same “theology” (3) the Roman Catholic Church used to
justify the destruction of alleged heretics or those deemed possessed was to be applied to them,
the abusive priests and corrupt bishops would all be outfitted with a millstone and dropped into
the sea.
To summarize: The application of God's laws do not hinge on the whims – and relativism – of politicians or hierarchs.
But what do I know? After all, I don't wear pretty red slippers, nor do I have men's colognes named after me. (4)

Once again, Friday 24th's (1) Divine Encouragement (2) posting spoke directly to my heart, as my family is undergoing severe spiritual warfare.
On another – and possibly related matter (regarding the severe spiritual warfare that my family is undergoing) – many years ago I read a document here about spiritual preparedness, reminding us that while many prophecies are warning about different end times scenarios, we really have to be prepared to face our judgment at any given moment, not to put off our conversion till tomorrow. (3)
Paraphrasing your words - you asked us, how could we be sure that an asteroid would not hit us in that remote country location where we would escape to... or that an SUV could blow a tire on the freeway and we could die that way?
Well, a couple of weeks ago, I was traveling on a notoriously dangerous stretch of freeway. As always, I had prayed for Divine Protection before even leaving my driveway. I had my four daughters and my baby boy with me. Suddenly a woman pulled alongside us, waving frantically, telling me that my back tire was very flat. It was so strange, we never felt a bump.
Suddenly there was an explosion, and the truck began shaking violently, and the children began screaming. God gave me the presence of mind to keep my hands firmly on the wheel, and guide us safely to the shoulder, down from 70 MPH. I put my flashers on and called my husband (and police, to shut that lane down, because people were swerving to avoid my quarter panel which had been blown off in the explosion).
Later, when my son was changing the tire, he found a huge coil of heavy wire intertwined in the rubber, which I had obviously not seen and run over and which had caused the explosive flat tire.
While we sat waiting for help, construction workers yelled at me from across the highway, telling me to retrieve from the freeway my car part which had been hit dozens of times. They were actually suggesting that I should leave the relative safety of my truck, and my children!, to retrieve a worthless car part. They never lifted a finger to help.
I prayed out loud for continued Divine protection because cars were swerving all over the freeway to avoid the debris. Since there was no shoulder we were very vulnerable to being hit while waiting to be rescued.
The day ended with prayers of thanksgiving, and finally, calmed nerves.
It could have been a very tragic day for my family and others, but I and my daughters were ready for that day, to meet Jesus, if He had allowed us to crash and die.
I am grateful that He allowed me to live to continue to raise my 11 children, who need me to help guide their souls and navigate through the End of These Times.

....are met in your life, and you have eleven of His children to raise and home-school, you must have a swarm of angels watching over you and yours.
You state: "my family is undergoing severe spiritual warfare" - which is coherent with all else since satan would not waste time on a family who has not made God its center.
Regarding the size of your family - eleven children! - we want to take this opportunity to point out, as we did to the world press in 1993 (4), that the problem is not an increasing number of world inhabitants; the problem is non-Evangelized world inhabitants. As John Bosco (5) proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, a family - as his was - with thousands of children who are well Evangelized could be viewed as a factory of upright and just citizens who can live in productive harmony. This was amply proven when the most radical anticlerical Italian Minister of the 19th century, Minister Rattazzi, was more helpful to John Bosco in establishing his congregation, The Salesians, than the Roman Curia was!
We have the feeling that there are more government officials like Minister Rattazzi in Heaven than members of the Roman Catholic Hierarchy....
Once again, thank you for sharing with all and may He continue to cover you with His feathers, because under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart and may He command His angels ... to guard you in all your ways; may they lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

Did you know that.... as of now the national debt of Greece stands at 43,200 US

Because of such debt the country, in spite of an earlier financial "transfusion" and another one
being negotiated now, is still expected to go into default. This scenario would severely impact
the two key Eurozone economies - German and French - since they hold sizable portions of the Greek
debt. This in turn would possibly trigger the financial collapse of the Eurozone.

Your latest document about Garabandal (1) brought the following memories to the surface....
When I was a little child in the 4th Grade in a Catholic school (c.1966) my mother had received
some literature on Garabandal. From memory, it was a very well written brochure of 4 pages, on
standard 8.5" x 11" paper. I may still have it somewhere here; yet I cannot recall who (or
what) printed it. The brochure had been placed in the back of the church with other devotional
pamphlets, etc.
It covered the major points of what Mary said to the seers, with the urgency of the message, warning of dire consequences for humanity, due to the failures of the clergy.
My mother, who was still religious at that time, suggested that I should bring it to school to show to my teacher, in light of the seriousness of what Mary was saying.
So I brought it to my teacher. Not only did she refuse to share it with the class, but literally turned into a 'monster' in her reaction. She was red-faced and screaming at me, for daring to bring in something "not approved by the Church". She was shouting at and humiliating me in front of the class.
As I had approached her politely - approaching her desk, showing her the brochure, and explaining what it was - her reaction was totally out of line. It was as if a switch was flipped in her psyche; like Dr. Jekyll turning into Mr. Hyde.
From that moment until I graduated school, this teacher took every possible opportunity to try to yell at me or try to get me into trouble. Her level of seeming vindictiveness was amazing. But for ....what?
Many years later it dawned upon me that she had barely even looked at the brochure - except to note that it was about Garabandal. I also realized two other possibilities:

As we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi - the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in a properly consecrated host, there are three areas we wish to highlight for our readers.
(a) The Real Presence of Jesus Christ in a consecrated host is indeed Real, but some conditions do apply, in order that simple, unleavened bread and wine, can be turned into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In the days of fake name brand watches and handbags (not mention make-believe Popes (1) and Saints of convenience (2)) it is prudent to understand how the Transubstantiation (3) takes place.
(b) In these days when every news report ends or starts with reports of the endemic fighting by Christians and Jews against Muslims, we should remember that this was caused by the lack of faith Abraham had in God. Yes, the man who is honored as the "Father of Faith" is the one who, by listening to his wife, Sarai, unleashed what we know as the endemic Christian/Jewish-Muslim confrontation.

Eternity.

I have no idea whether Daniel 8:14 refers to 2,300 actual full days, or whether it refers to 1,150 days (each with a morning and an evening).
If the AntiChrist's (1) reign ends in 2011, we will have been spared the often-dreaded full 7 years of his "leadership"; the days will have been shortened.

schedule" reference point for our readers.In a new report, they warn that ocean life is "at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecedented in human history". They conclude that issues such as over-fishing, pollution and climate change are acting together in ways that have not previously been recognised.
The impacts, they say, are already affecting humanity.

Have you heard that... a new report says Japan's tsunami-ravaged nuclear plant was so unprepared for the disaster that workers had to bring protective gear and an emergency manual from distant buildings and borrow equipment from a contractor? (1)
The report, released Saturday by plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co., is based on interviews
of workers and plant data. It portrays chaos amid the desperate and ultimately unsuccessful battle
to protect the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant from meltdown, and shows that workers struggled
with unfamiliar equipment and fear of radiation exposure.
The March 11 earthquake and tsunami destroyed the plant's power and crucial cooling systems, causing three reactor cores to melt and causing several explosions.
The report revealed insufficient preparations at the plant that TEPCO hadn't previously acknowledged. It said plant workers had a disaster drill just a week before the tsunami and "everyone was familiar with emergency exits," but it apparently did not help them cope with the crisis.

miguel de Portugal comments: Drawing on years of experience in designing, operating and troubleshooting chemical facilities (which had the capacity - if something unexpected went wrong - to wipe out a city) I am shocked at the ineptitude - outright stupidity - of the design and operating engineers at that nuclear complex. Junior engineers and technicians under my direction had more sense and planning ability than those Japanese engineers seem to have had!
But then again, we have just read that.....
Federal regulators have been working closely with the nuclear power industry to keep the nation's
aging reactors operating within safety standards by repeatedly weakening those standards,
or simply failing to enforce them, an investigation by The Associated Press has found.

Time after time, officials at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission have decided that original
regulations were too strict, arguing that safety margins could be eased without peril, according
to records and interviews.

The M+G+R Foundation comments: The only positive that we can take from the above
(and from the many, many other similar situations) is that it makes very clear - and fully
understandable - why God’s only option now is to visit humanity with a cataclysm greater
than what we know as Noah’s Flood.

An event edited out.... of most of the Garabandal literature has to do with the "Night of the Screams".
There were two nights - June 19th and 20th in the year 1962 - when the girls had truly horrific visions of what is to come. Details of those two nights may be found in "Garabandal - el pueblo habla," by Ramón Pérez - a book that we consider the most comprehensive and reliable book on Garabandal. (However, this has been edited out of the English version, titled "Garabandal - the villagers speak," which was published by Lomagino's group).
We will translate from the Spanish version (1) (2) the items of interest:
When they came out of those terrible visions, Loli and Jacinta prepared and signed the following text, which they date on the 19th (two days before the Feast of Corpus Christi in 1962), and through which they try to transmit to those present the essence of what they have seen or understood:
The Virgin told us that we should not wait for the Chastisement, because it will come without
being expected because the world has not changed and She has told us so twice, and we do not pay
attention to Her, since the world is worse. The world should change much and it has not changed at
all. Prepare yourselves, confess, the Chastisement will come soon, and the world does not change.
I say: the world is always the same, it is a shame that it does not change. If it does not
change, a great Chastisement will come soon.
We have not changed the punctuation or the grammatical structure.
The above should be digested in conjunction with the final message of the Virgin Mary and delivered through Michael the Archangel on June 18th, 1965. To wit:
As my message of October 18 (1961) has not been complied with and has not been made known to
the world, I am advising you that this is the last one. Before, the cup was filling up. Now it is
flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are
taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist. You should
turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask His forgiveness with
sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your mother, through the intercession (intervention)
of St. Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the last

will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of
Jesus.
Anyone with a shred of objectivity will admit that if the cup was "flowing over." in 1965, in the year 2011, the cup, the table, the house and the neighborhood have been washed away in the spiritual filth humanity continues to emit.
Get your spiritual house in order now, for you will not have much longer to wait before we start living - on a global scale - what those little angels lived through on the nights of June 19 and 20, 1962, and which miguel de Portugal has warned you of before.

The Church Vs the Poor
My personal observation over the past 35 years of dealing with hundreds of churches in a professional capacity confirms yours: The Church gives mere lip service to the Gospel.
With my own eyes I have seen poor people who come the door of local churches asking for food, desperately needed money, or other help:
In the New York City area during the worst of the Homeless crisis (1) of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, I am not aware of one single Catholic church which opened its doors to the homeless at night.
Homeless were forbidden to sleep in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral; the police would arrest/evict them daily. If they were found inside seeking refuge from the cold in the pews, the same treatment resulted. Just up the street were an Episcopalian and Presbyterian church. Both had very affluent congregations. They allowed the homeless to sleep on their front steps - to the extent of fighting with the (largely Catholic) police to prevent them from being rounded up!
While the most famous Catholic cathedral in the Western Hemisphere (2) spat upon Jesus in the person of the poor and homeless, the Protestant churches cared for Him. They were bringing hot soup and meals to the poor, and opening up their facilities for them to sleep inside. They still do this, as far as I know.
So much for the "sainthood cause" of Cardinal Terence Cooke (1968-83) (3); and so much for Cardinal O'Connor's episcopal motto:
"There can be no love without justice". (4)
Having met both of them in person, the most charitable thing I can say of the latter is that his motto was the devil's own joke.

We saw many similar situations in the Houston area, even though we consider the Bishop at the time one of the few good ones. He worked wonders there, even though the Houston-Galveston Diocese was a very complicated one.

This year - 2011 - we have just experienced the next to the latest possible date for Trinity Sunday (June 19).

With my own eyes I have seen poor people who come the door of local churches asking for food, desperately needed money, or other help:
- Have the door slammed in their face
- Be cursed at in the most foul language by priests or their loyal employees
- Be given - not food, $$, clothing, or help - but rather a sheet of paper with the addresses of
social service agencies.
- Be told 'Father is not in/busy/eating/in a meeting' when a poor soul in obvious distress needs
counsel and Confession.
- Homeless persons sleeping on the steps of rectories being walked over by Diocesan officials.
- Destitute, homeless persons being physically roughed up and thrown out the front of a church by
a priest, while pleading for help.
- Priests who, after turning away the poor and homeless, and refusing to help them, were laughing
and joking about it, and making fun of them.

Did you know that... the longest lunar eclipse in more than a decade turned the
moon blood red, yielding a rare visual treat for stargazers across a large swathe of the planet
from Australia to Europe? (1)
The first eclipse of the year -- when the Earth casts its shadow over the moon -- was seen in
parts of Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

The M+G+R Foundation comments: There is simply nothing else that God can do, besides what He has already done in recent times, to get the attention of the deaf and blind amongst the Elect besides increasing the volume of the megaphone (2) to an almost ear-splitting level. So be it!

Today's Gospel reading..... is among the most ignored, yet valuable teachings of the Gospel. It is a shame that man refuses to believe it.
In this beautiful Gospel we read:
[21] For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also. [22] The light of thy body is
thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome. [23] But if thy eye be evil thy
whole body shall be darksome. If then the light that is in thee, be darkness: the darkness itself
how great shall it be! [24] No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and
love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon
(riches, worldly interest). [25] Therefore I say to you, be not solicitous for your life, what you
shall eat, nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than the meat: and the
body more than the raiment?

The three keys to the message are: "For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also" -
"You cannot serve God and mammon (riches, worldly interest)." - "Seek ye therefore first
the kingdom of God, and his justice."
It is this simple: If for everything we think and do, we would place God first - which certainly includes His teachings - ALL would turn out in the best possible way regardless of any circumstance.
If we are worrying about riches and worldly interests (1), our heart is right there "with the riches and worldly interests" and not with God. In such circumstances the results will always be a catastrophic failure, just like the Evangelization was, and just as all the "pipe dreams" of Opus Dei (2) will be.
Sadly enough, that is the only way that man is capable of learning and, this time, Blessedly, it will be an unforgettable lesson.

Have you noticed that on this year, the Eve of the Feast of Transfiguration and the Anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, August 5th, is exactly forty days after the celebration of the Body of Christ on June 26th?
As you know, the Feast of the Body of Christ was traditionally celebrated in the Latin Church on the Thursday (June 23rd for 2011) after Trinity Sunday (June 19 for 2011) to solemnly commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist.
However, for the convenience of the Faithful and the clergy, regardless of any possible offense to God, the Feast of the Body of Christ has been moved to the Sunday following Trinity Sunday. Therefore, this year, the Feast of the Body of Christ is observed on June 26th.
As a matter of interest - June 26th is also the anniversary of Escriva's death in 1975, and the anniversary of the death of the Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate in 363. Julian tried to re-establish Roman paganism, and attempted to rebuild the Jewish Temple.
Surely a coincidence....

Now that our frequently surprised scientists.... have announced the possibility of another unexpected impending Little Ice Age (1), we wish to remind our readers of two entries which appear in one of our documents (2):
** On a NASA Public Release dated 1-Aug-2002 we read: Satellites reveal a mystery of large change in earth's gravity field. After a page of scientific speculation the conclusion is that they really do not know (or do not want to acknowledge) what the real source is.

This is the famous North Star which "...since the beginning of written history..." has remained in
the same position as viewed from "...the Northern Hemisphere and so has come to represent
faithfulness, dependability, and constancy in most cultures."
Another "mystery" which is full of symbolism to mankind. The one "unchangeable" astronomic land
mark to all mankind has "mysteriously" changed.... Like a Beating Heart which has stopped
Beating....

The hacker group Lulz Security said it had launched the attack.
The CIA site initially could not be accessed from New York to San Francisco, and Bangalore to
London. Later in the evening service was sporadic.
"We are looking into these reports," a CIA spokeswoman said.
Lulz Security has defaced websites, posted personal information about customers and site administrators, and disclosed the network configurations of some sites.
Security analysts have downplayed the significance of these attacks, saying the hackers are just looking to show off and get as much attention as possible.

Did you hear that... the story about an American-Syrian lesbian, which "gripped the world" via all those new social-networking disinformation tools, was indeed a hoax? (1)

According to three studies released in the United States on Tuesday, experts believe the familiar
sunspot cycle may be shutting down and heading toward a pattern of inactivity unseen since the
17th century.
"This is highly unusual and unexpected," said Frank Hill, associate director of the NSO's Solar Synoptic Network, as the findings of the three studies were presented at the annual meeting of the American Astronomical Society's Solar Physics Division in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
"But the fact that three completely different views of the Sun point in the same direction is a powerful indicator that the sunspot cycle may be going into hibernation."
Solar activity tends to rise and fall every 11 years or so. The solar maximum and solar minimum each mark about half the interval of the magnetic pole reversal on the Sun, which happens every 22 years.
Hill said the current cycle, number 24, "may be the last normal one for some time and the next one, cycle 25, may not happen for some time.
"This is important because the solar cycle causes space weather which affects modern technology and may contribute to climate change," he told reporters.
Experts are now probing whether this period of inactivity could be a second Maunder Minimum, which was a 70-year period when hardly any sunspots were observed between 1645-1715, a period known as the "Little Ice Age." (2)

Six days after a post on the blog A Gay Girl in Damascus triggered panic among its readers by
suggesting that the blog's author, who claimed to be a Syrian-American lesbian caught up in the
protest movement, had been detained in the Syrian capital, a new entry appeared on Sunday that
described the entire online diary as a work of fiction by an American man.
He got the idea to start a blog in the guise of his character, he said, when a Web site called Lez Get Real published two long comments about Syria that he had submitted in Amina's name in February. That Web site published a long apology on Friday, explaining that its editors had helped to start the Gay Girl in Damascus blog. In the comment thread beneath that apology, one of the editors of the site explained that the blogger's 135 contributions to Lez Get Real in recent months had all seemed to come from computers located in Scotland, not Syria. Mr. MacMaster moved to Scotland from the U.S. last year to study history.

María José Berzosa was 18 years old when she decided to leave her studies in medicine to enter a
cloistered life with the Clarissa nuns at a convent in Lerma, Burgos, an order which is devoted to
prayer, penance and contemplation and is seen as one of the most austere orders of the Roman
Catholic Church. She was the first novice to enter the convent for 23 years.
She took the name of Sor Verónica and later became novice mistress and, by the time Sor Verónica became mother superior of the St Clare convent, while other Clarissa convents in Spain had not taken in any new novices for many years, the community had grown to such an extent that it had taken over the San Pedro Regalado Franciscan monastery in La Aguilera and had more than 180 nuns.
This vocational boom has been described as 'the miracle of Lerma'. Two other Clarissa convents are meanwhile now empty of nuns and are to be sold to the state to be converted into Paradors.
On February 12, 2011, at the age of 44, Sor Verónica became the leader of a new congregation, when the Clarissa nuns of Lerma became members of the order which was founded by Sor Verónica - the religious institute 'Jesu Communio'.
The institute was approved by Benedict XVI in December 2010, and the Vatican's representative in Spain, the Papal Nuncio, Renzo Fratini, was at the Cathedral in Burgos on Saturday afternoon to witness the birth of the new religious institute when the 181 former Clarissa nuns reaffirmed their vows.
Many of them gave up their university studies to enter the cloistered life and, with the exception of Sor Verónica, none is over the age of 40. Generally brought up in cities and from middle class families, they are seen as followers of the new evangelisation called for by Pope John Paul II. Público reports that many belong to neo-conservative groups such as the Neocatechumenal Way, Communion and Liberation, and Opus Dei.
The youth of the new order is reflected in the denim fabric which has been chosen for their habit.
The ceremony was presided by the Archbishop of Burgos, Francisco Gil Hellín, with the Archbishop of Pamplona, Francisco Pérez, and the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo, Raúl Berzosa, who is the brother of Sor Verónica. The President of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, Antonio María Rouco Varela, was also there to witness the event.

country (in Spanish), we have no doubt that indeed she has "mothered" the Opus Dei version of
female religious group - pious arrogance included.
Her brother, a very young and intellectual Spanish Bishop, is very Opus Dei friendly, if not a full-fledged member himself.
