How to “be perfect as the Father is
perfect”
Did you know that... it is very easy to “be perfect as the Father is perfect”?
To “be like someone” or to “do something” all we need is: (a) The “how to” instructions; and (b) The will to do it.
Let us find out what the “how to” instructions for this magnificent gift...
44 ... I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that
hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you: 45
That you may be the children of your Father who is in heaven, who maketh his sun to rise upon the
good, and bad, and raineth upon the just and the unjust.

You see – the condition given by Jesus Christ to be perfect as the Father is perfect is as clear as fine crystal: Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you.
If you cannot get yourself to do so... Ask Him for the Grace! Didn’t He also say: 24 Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you. [Mark 5:24]
Forget about all your New Years and Lenten Resolutions and Sacrifices – What is more important to work for (and offer to God) than trying to be perfect as the Father is perfect? Absolutely nothing!
But do not take our word for it – take His: I will have mercy and not sacrifice. For I am not come to call the just, but sinners. [Matthew 9:13]
If you do not even believe this (Mark 5:24, Matthew 5:44 and Matthew 9:13), then maybe Christianity is not your Faith after all.

If many of our clergy are in error, where does that
leave the faithful?

If many of our clergy – bishops, priests, are in error, and if we are not receiving the true
instruction and sacraments as they were traditionally meant to be, where does that leave the
faithful?
How can we go to a not so divine mass said by a not so appropriate priest, and receive communion in the hand etc. and expect our souls to be saved?
Where do we go and what do we do?
This question has plagued me for some time now, and I cannot seem to find the answer.

...and we thank you! for this opportunity.
First of all – the fundamentals of the Catholic Faith, which may be found in the New Catechism, as we have explained elsewhere, (1) are pristine and no human filth will taint it.
Secondly – even though the clergy has been, and continues to be, on the news for serious deviations (how about a young priest posing nude in the Sacristy of his parish advertising himself in the Internet “for all and with all” except sado-masochism for 50 € per 15 minutes (2)) they are indeed a great minority. The majority —and from where most of the grievous damage has come— is with the members of the Hierarchy who cover up for them and shuffle them around so that they spread their soul damaging “disease”. (3) The figure can be as high as 50 % of them.
Having said that – we must admit that amongst the non-tainted-by-scandal priests we can find many sloppy-with-the-liturgy priests. However, one thing is being sloppy and another one is being spiritually criminal, like those who purposely do not consecrate at Mass (4) and/or distribute non consecrated hosts. We are not “talking rumors” here.
Therefore, just like one shops for a car or a coat, but with greater diligence, one must search for a parish, and the priest in that parish who offers a reasonable, if not outright an uplifting Mass. The same for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
If geography does not allow it and a faithful is stuck with a spiritually criminal priest it is best to “attend” a live (5) Mass on-line or on TV with the communion being of a Spiritual nature as opposed as of a physical nature.
In all cases the faithful must strive to be Perfect as the Father is Perfect (see above) and pray for all members of the clergy, Hierarchy and religious orders. If they have gone astray it is because very, very few of the Faithful seriously pray for them. Any Minister of God is the number one priority in satan’s “Search and Destruct” list and it is up to the Faithful to provide the prayer armor for their protection.
We will close with a personal anecdote from miguel de Portugal. It occurred in the Sanctuary of Fatima in the early nineties. As we said, and you will see – God will not let down His children (6), no matter how much filth is floating around the Administrators of the Sacraments. God was about to test miguel to the limit and see, as the saying goes, if miguel would “put his money where his mouth was”.
There was a priest in Fatima which had a well earned reputation for being highly immoral. m de P knew who he was and miguel would never willingly partake in the Sacrament of Reconciliation with him as the confessor. God knew this, therefore, He set up m de P in a situation wherein only when miguel’s turn came up he would be able to see who the confessor that day was.
You have guessed right! When m de P’s turn came up, he came face to face with the only priest he would avoid in Fatima. Well, as we have said many times – either God is God or is not; there are no half measures here. Therefore, confident in God and in the preparatory prayers that miguel always offers for the confessor, the Sacrament of Reconciliation commenced. When miguel had finished listing his sins and transgressions for the past month this is what the confessor said: “You now go to the Chapel of Adoration and He will tell you what you need to hear”. He gave miguel the appropriate absolution and that part of the Sacrament of Reconciliation ended.
miguel went straight to the Chapel of Adoration, and as he has said: “Jesus did not stopped talking for fifteen minutes!” It turned out to be probably the best Sacrament of Reconciliation miguel has experienced.
As you see – even satan must serve God. All we must do is place our full trust in God and try to be perfect as the Father us perfect. God will do the rest.

may unite in spirit with those present in the live celebration invoking the communion of saints

Under Cardinal Ratzinger direction – Vatican watering down
the strict ruling on reporting sexual abuse
Did you know that... in 1962 the allegedly “evil” Second Vatican Council’s Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani, Secretary of the Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office... (1)

addressed to “all Patriarchs, Archbishops, Bishops and other Local Ordinaries, including those
of Eastern Rite”, the Holy Office laid down procedures to be followed in dealing with cases of
clerics (priests or bishops) of the Roman Catholic Church accused of having used the sacrament of
Penance to make sexual advances to penitents; its rules were more specific than the generic
ones in the Code of Canon Law.
In addition, it instructed that the same procedures be used when dealing with denunciations of homosexual, paedophile or zoophile behaviour by clerics. Age of consent in Vatican State: 12 years
old
Did you know that...
...article 331 of Vatican State criminal code provides that the age of consent is set at 12 years old, but when there is a relationship of dependence (like teacher/student/ etc.) the age of consent is 15 years? (1)
This law applies to criminal suspects arrested in Vatican City. Whereas, if a sexual offence
occurs in Vatican State but the suspect is arrested in Italy, he/she is tried under Italian
criminal law, based on Italian Criminal code called “Rocco Code”, issued in 1930.

For years, under the direction of Dr. Gerberding, the CDC has maintained an unbelievable position that Merck’s vaccines are so safe that we don’t need to consider any possibility of side effects. She then actively promoted and sold Merck’s vaccines. This goes far beyond her job description at the CDC. So whom was she working for, anyway? Now we know.
The answer is yes!

The Lower Merion School District, in response to a suit filed by a student, has acknowledged that webcams were remotely activated 42 times in the past 14 months, but only to find missing, lost or stolen laptops — which the district noted would include “a loaner computer that, against regulations, might be taken off campus.”
“Despite some reports to the contrary, be assured that the security-tracking software has been completely disabled”, Superintendent Christopher W. McGinley said in a statement on the district’s Web site late Friday. Officials vowed a comprehensive review that McGinley said should result in stronger privacy policies.
Harriton High School student Blake Robbins and his parents, Michael and Holly Robbins, filed a federal civil rights lawsuit Tuesday against the district, its board of directors and McGinley. The M+G+R Foundation: There is a simple device which will send signals to a determined place indicating its geographical location. Such device could be remotely activated and will accurately, but without images or sounds, indicate where the missing computer is. Of course, such simple and impersonal system will not provide the “dirt” that some are really seeking and for which, unfortunately, there is a thriving international market.

The email concerning the “Announcement of Venezuelan Oil Accumulations” reminds me of
the August 2009 executive order signed by President Obama to loan 2 billion U.S. taxpayer dollars
to underwrite a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company to drill off the coast of Brazil. [The August
18, 2009 Wall street Journal article to confirm this (1) ]
The oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China – not the USA. The Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil.
We as taxpayers will have no gain from this transaction, but the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company, George Soros, would benefit the most. He was one of President Obama’s most generous financial supporters of the President’s campaign (and continues to fund this presidency).
All the building blocks are being set in place for this “U.S. progressive movement” and eventually to fall in line under the New World Order (2). It is difficult to watch and learn these things but we must have patience and confidence in God and His Word. Fear is not of God.

The last election only served to further compressed the period of severe suffering that awaits the world and not to change the course. Logically, the leadership —it is the same with a different public face. As we have said in many different ways— neither Mr. Bush had nor Mr. Obama has much to say regarding where the US is being driven to by forces that they cannot even comprehend, much less control.

There you will see that the central message from the Qur’an —the Muslim Holy Book— is: To Jews: Believe in Jesus; To Christians: Come back to the original Gospel of Jesus from which you have strayed.
Therefore, Islam could not possibly be above Christianity in teaching, although Muslims could teach Christians and Jews a lesson or two about how to live the faith one professes.
Regarding those who God will destroy with His breath (2) – The selection will not follow faith profiles. It will be strictly based on one’s relationship with the only God that there is.

Why misery continues to reign in the world despite millions
of Masses
Do you wonder why...
...with all the fasting and other physical sacrifices, in addition to the millions of Masses, humanity offers to God for various reasons, misery continues to reigns supreme at the global level?
God clearly explained the reason for that to humanity through the Prophet Isaiah, and, in the Name of God we repeat it today:
5 Is this such a fast (any sacrifice) as I have chosen: for a man to afflict his soul
for a day (a week, a month)? is this it, to wind his head about like a circle, and to
spread sackcloth and ashes? wilt thou call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord?

There is a born again acquaintance of mine (whom I pray for daily and keep her at ‘great arms
length’ away) who over the past twenty or so months has tried to convince me of my ‘errors’
as a catholic. My response to her has been naively passive, believing in what we hold as truths of
this catholic church, even believing I might be an instrument of letting her see the Truth. At
times she has been absolutely vitriolic in denouncing Catholicism much to my astonishment. It
seems I really didn’t know where she was coming from until having just read a lengthy document

Unfortunately we do not have the time to review such writing and shred it line by line, nonetheless we thank you for giving us an opportunity to address the issues that you bring up; issues which are of universal concern.
A. It is next to impossible to believe in the Resurrection of Christ without believing in the transubstantiation of bread and wine at Mass. Technically (scientifically) speaking, transubstantiation is a more acceptable phenomena than the resurrection of a corpse.
B. Only satan and those influenced by him would be interested in demolishing the Holy Mass. Incidentally, this statement is also applicable to whether the Mass is the before or after the Second Vatican Council version.
C. However, If Transubstantiation did not occur – how and why would that be offensive to God being that is accepted with a pure and devoted heart? Were that the case, why go into an all out crusade to bash the Catholic Faith? That can only be explained when satanic influence is the driving force of those “crusaders”. There are some devoted Catholics who have difficulty in accepting the Real Presence but they do not attack it; they just ask God for the faith to accept it.
D. When we share with others details of our Faith we should do so as clearly as we can, answer any questions that we are able to and live it as the best example. Those who are marked to embrace it will do so sooner or later. Those who are not, never will. That why Jesus said:
Give not that which is holy to dogs; neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest perhaps
they trample them under their feet, and turning upon you, they tear you.
[Matthew 7:6]
As you may readily see, the “they tear you” that Jesus spoke in this case means: “they tear your faith”.
E. This is why we often repeat that we must pray for faith and nourish it because all faith which is based on the intellect and not in our core belief in God and His teachings will go by the wayside when faced with the AntiChrist – False Christ “combo”.

The adoring of the Real Presence of God and the idolatric
behaviour towards statues of saints
Did you know that... that God always “has all the bases covered”?
Fallen man has a tendency to idolatry. You “give a human ten minutes” and he has found a stone or a shell or an animal to adore as f it were god.
God led the Israelites from the bondage of the Pharaoh with truly miraculous signs and wonders and very quickly, their priest, Aaron, was building for them a golden calf and leading them into orgiastic adoration.
That tendency seem to run in the priestly family – God caused a supernatural display never seen in the world at Fatima on October 13, 1917, and His priests eventually cashed in the miracle while blatantly disobeying God plunging the world into the darkest century of known history (1)... but we digress... back to the fundamental idolatrous tendency of humans.
Even though hundred of millions of Catholics adore statues of saints as well as relics as, demonstrated by their behavior toward them —to the point of offending the Real Presence in the Tabernacle— this is wrong, very wrong. That is unabashed idolatry. The only material object that we can, and should!, adore is precisely the consecrated host – the Real Presence of God veiled in the form af a wheat wafer.
In doing that, humans can “get out of their system” the drive to adore something physical while at the same time they are adoring the True and Living God.
If that is not God “covering all bases” by helping us to work around our disorderly tendencies, we just do not know what it is!
May He be Thrice Glorified!

The promotion of H1N1 vaccination as vehement as in the
beginning
Did you know that...
...the pounding upon the general public to get vaccinated against the mythical H1N1 virus has not let up at all?
We receive daily reports on the news regarding the vaccination issue and “they” are promoting it with the same vehemence as “they” used at the very beginning.
Do you still wonder... why the persistent insistence that people get vaccinated to fight a virtually non existent disease?
Let us look at it again.
(1) The obvious explanation is a purely commercial reason; however, that does not hold much water.
The amount of money to be gained cannot even come close to the cost of the worldwide level effort
to promote the swine flu vaccination.
(2) The next explanation would be that the authorities are utilizing the vaccine as a vehicle to: (a) use a needle to implant something in each vaccinated individual; or (b) infect a significant part of the world population with some “conspiratorial” virus.

But if we consider who is being hounded to be vaccinated, we find out that the targets of this effort are primarily the citizens of the First World Nations. Why not make an effort —equal in magnitude to the “charity show” now in display with Haiti— and provide free vaccines to the poor and the destitute of the world whom we are now pretending to care so much for?
Pondering about this issue “gives birth” to a Conspiracy Theory to end conspiracy theories about the faux pandemic we just “experienced”. What if the plan really is to inoculate those whom the World Masters want to keep alive and then release a pre planned “designer virus” which will not infect those vaccinated but which will wipe out most of the “undesirable” of society?
In the First World, many of the “undesirables” who would be eliminated would be those who distrust the Establishment, and avoided taking the H1N1 shot for that reason. The same plague that would depopulate the Third World would rid the US and West Europe of many of the people of God (regardless of their stated religious affiliation) as well as level headed libertarians and environmentalists.
Outrageous? Hardly! If Hitler did what he did with those whom he deemed undesirables, why not Part II?

My memory was jogged at the name of Father John McCloskey, I seemed to remember sending you an article about him many years ago. I don’t remember exactly what it was about other than he had been soliciting many ‘important’ Catholics as well as non Catholics to join Opus Dei, and that much of what he had said in the article directly contradicted everything that Jesus had taught.
I was so alarmed by the article that I not only sent it to you, but also wrote to Bud McFarlane of the Mary Foundation, who up until that point I had been corresponding with. The response I received from Mr. McFarlane’s assistant was that Mr. McFarlane was away on ‘vacation’ and that both he and his wife were ‘Opus Dei’ and good friends with Fr. McCloskey so they wouldn’t be interested in my comments and/or letter. After receiving the assistants email I never corresponded to Mary Foundation or Mr. McFarlane again.
I checked my saved e-mails to find the article I had sent you, but my computer only goes back a couple of years, and this was way back in July or august of 2002. So then I looked through the many printed articles/documents/letters that I had saved from your web site.
I was unable to find the article but did find a handwritten note from you, from Aug. 2002 thanking me for the article and letting me know that you were preparing a document on it. I am not sure if this would be relevant to what you wrote about today, but because the name McCloskey ‘jumped’ out at me, and then more so because I had found the note you had handwritten so many years ago ( I have only 3 handwritten notes from you over the last 10 years) I thought it might be a prompting of the Holy Spirit to remind you of the article in case you have somehow saved it and/or the document you were preparing but never published many years ago and it is needed today.

In a very fast search – we only found two documents (1) (2) where we mentioned his name, however, that Search Engine is not infallible. Nonetheless, based on past experience, this current document may just be the one we announced back in 2002.

I had a dream early Tuesday (the 9th) morning.
The time was the near future: late winter or early spring, while the trees are without leaves, but (I think) after snow melt.

– I had been watching a movie or a TV program about the time before an earthquake, a time of preparation and premonitory hints of what was to come.
– Then I was a few hundred feet off the ground, so I could see what was happening next. The waters of the river flowing through a great city (NY? Philadelphia? Pittsburgh?) began to shake and quiver, and I knew a great earthquake was starting, and it was hitting an area where such events are not expected or planned for.
– Then I saw the aftermath, from a few feet above ground. The port was inundated, and people were trying to rescue people and recover the bodies of those whose cars and trucks were partly underwater. Then I knew that the quake had been worldwide, and 1.25-1.5 billion people, a quarter of the population, had died. Everyone was in mourning.
It has been a while since I had such a dream. I do not remember reading or seeing anything in particular the last few days about earthquakes, comet strikes, or a pole shift.

Nikola Tesla, as you are aware, was a prolific inventor. U.S. Patent No. 514,169, Tesla’s Reciprocating Engine (1), formed the basis of what he would later call telegeodynamics (2). With it, one could find underground ore or oil deposits via the vibrations generated by his machine which he referred to as a “controlled earthquake”. (3) There are several stories of an experiment that Tesla did around 1888 wherein he secured a version of his device to a metal beam in his building, the device supposedly was small enough to be hidden in a coat, and resulted in the building as well as the surrounding area to be shaken as if it were experiencing an earthquake. Apparently, the situation became alarming enough that the police were called in and they arrived just in time to witness Tesla smashing his machine to pieces with a sledge hammer. (4)
How much progress did he make in this field? Not much, it seems. While he was confident that he could put his theories in this area to use, aside from telegeodynamics he also envisioned a world-wide telephony network wherein one would be able to transmit sound as well as video through the earth (5), he never quite got around to it, his energies and finances having been exhausted in other projects. Monied interests as well as the incredulity of most people and his own pacifist nature, seemed to be the most effective barriers to his inventive aspirations. It is worth noting however, that Tesla himself stated that he believed he could split the Earth in two were he so inclined. And that it would only take him a few weeks to vibrate the Earth’s crust to such an extent that it would rise and fall hundreds of feet and effectively end civilization as we know it. (6)

I do not question the historic veracity of the statements, but the doctrinal principle, taking in consideration Jesus’ words to the effect that He did not come to repeal the law, but to perfect it. In the 4th part of the document (2), it is established a chronology, different from the events described on your January 29, 2010 document (3):

Thank you for the opportunity to address these very important issues: (a) the allegation of heresy; (b) the turning the Second Vatican Council into an all purpose escape goat; and (c) the upcoming events sequence.
(a) The allegation of heresy
Jesus indeed say: Do not think that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets. I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. [Matthew 5:17] The confusion occurs as to the definition of “law” and “prophets”, but the confusion is quickly dispelled by Him, to wit:

doctrines and precepts of men. 8 For leaving the commandment of God, you hold

The religious leaders and teachers of the Old Covenant had taken Divine Law and diluted/perverted it with doctrines and precepts of men. Jesus came to expose, invalidate and then correct such deviations from Divine Law, but not the Law itself.
His manifestation was also the fulfillment of the Prophets. First through His first coming, announced by the prophets of old (1) and through His Ministry, which can be very effectively exemplified/summarized if He had asked the Administrators of the Temple: “Exactly what part of what I have been relaying to you through My prophets for centuries don’t you understand?”
Therefore – the only part of the Old Testament that was invalidated was that which contained the deviations of the Law caused by the doctrines and precepts of men.
History will repeat itself in the Second Coming since the Administrators of the New Covenant (the Church He founded) did exactly the same thing the Administrators of the Old Covenant: They have taken Divine Law —made crystal clear by God in the Person of Jesus— and diluted/perverted it with doctrines and precepts of men. This time the Administrators outdid their earlier homologues: They invented Infallibility (2) giving certain doctrines and precepts of men equal standing with Divine Law.
(b) turning the Second Vatican Council into an all purpose escape goat
We have covered that issue extensively in two documents (3) but we will add something specifically applicable to “rigid Fatimaphiles” who blame the Second Vatican Council for all.
If the pre-Second Vatican Council Pope —Pius XI— had obeyed God, Nazism and Communism would not have flourished with its putrid fruit, and, those “evil” Popes —John XXIII and Paul VI— would have never existed.
In plain English and “flashing lights” for the deaf and blind to hear and see: Whomever wants to blame the Second Vatican Council and those two “heretic” Popes for all the evils of the world must remember that the fault lies squarely on the shoulders of the pre-Second Vatican Council Roman Catholic Church leaders. If they had obeyed God —as it was (and is !!) their duty— none of that would have happened. Case closed!
(c) the upcoming events sequence
They are entitled to their opinion – which is exactly what that is: just an opinion.
In closing... We must always remember that for the unconverted Jews there is only the Old Covenant which, in their perspective, has not been revoked. Were it revoked – how could they get from “there” (Judaism) to “here” (Christianity)?

In reference to you posting of January 31st... you are in my daily prayers M de P; I am a 66 year
old truck driver retired due to health reasons and hardly worthy of the beauty you have dispensed
from your site.
At the verge of despair and while suffering from anxiety and depression, as well as chronic fatigue, your message has enlightened me to act in accordance with the Will of Our Savior as I have never been able to in my entire life.
I am partaking of the sacraments and striving to observe the first Friday and Saturday devotions. Thank you for the literal ‘taking by the hand’ direction for praying The Rosary.
Your exposure of deviance among administrators has opened my eyes to what has always seemed to me a paradox or inconsistency regarding the end (as perceived by the created powers that be) justifying the means.
I’ve always wondered what would Jesus do in such and such a situation and what he might do if He were amongst us now. The crusades were a very early stumbling block to my understanding of the church’s teaching of Jesus. I have been confused all my life by the apparent discrepancies between church teachings and ‘pontifications’ leading to a worse situation in the world than in any time in history.
I am at the point of losing my house to foreclosure yet am now seeking the Will of The Lord. I recall having read some of your writings around the year 2000 and because of my self centered ways turned away from your admonitions out of fear. It was like when I had stopped drinking – I was afraid I’d be missing out of enjoying life...

And, in your case, what better support than prayers?
Since prayers move mountains they will move those who are in a position to offer financial help and/or some of their free time to do so.
As you can see with this posting, your prayers are beginning to work.
I brought what you communicated to us, which symbolizes the situation of others who have not written for whatever reason, to Our Lord for His feedback on what to do.
The solution —as with all that is revealed by God— is quite simple. We will resume publishing the one catch-all page —For Your Information and Reference— but only in one of our Domains although it can also be reached from our other Domains. We will do the same with the Divine Encouragement page. By making those changes the time consumed will be equivalent to the regular e-mailing to a segment of our list; something that we were planning on doing as part of the plan to reduce the time consumed on our Internet work.
As for the other issue which was mentioned as part of the motive for the changes – The updating of our Mailing List, based on the response we had to the withdrawal of the posts, will take care of it.
May God continue to Bless you and draw you ever closer to His Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of our loving Heavenly Mother.

The fleeing of the Holy Family to Egypt – from Nazareth or
from Bethlehem?
Do you ever wonder if...
(a) The three Wise Men went from meeting with Herod to Bethlehem to adore the Holy Child, Herod
ordered all the children under two years old killed and Joseph was warned by an angel to flee
to Egypt before they caught up with them?
How come...
(b) Forty days after the Holy Child’s birth, He was presented at the Temple in accordance to
Mosaic Law (so we know those are actually 40 days after His birth) and then left for
Nazareth where “he grew, and waxed strong, full of wisdom”?
Egypt first? Nazareth later? Or was it Nazareth first and then Egypt?
Amazingly enough, both parts of the Gospel are right. Allow us to share with you this Gift from Above.
Let us read the actual Scriptures:
For (a)...
1 When Jesus therefore was born in Bethlehem of Juda, in the days of king Herod, behold, there
came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. 2 Saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For
we have seen his star in the east, and are come to adore him. 3 And king Herod hearing this, was
troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And assembling together all the chief priests and the
scribes of the people, he inquired of them where Christ should be born. 5 But they said to him: In
Bethlehem of Juda. For so it is written by the prophet:

The answer to the apparent contradiction (which we have not seen addressed in any Bible’s footnote) follows...
There are three keys, which with the Light of the Holy Spirit, explains it.
(a-1) 10 And seeing the star they rejoiced with exceeding great
joy. 11 And entering into the house, they found the child with
Mary his mother, and falling down they adored him; and opening their treasures, they offered him
gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
(a-2) Herod perceiving that he was deluded by the wise men, was exceeding angry; and sending killed all the men children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old and under
(b-1) 39 And after they had performed all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their city Nazareth.

If the Wise Men had to ask directions from Herod something must have happened to their guiding star – otherwise they could have gone straight to the Child. Herod tells them that the King of Israel had to be born in Bethlehem. The Wise Men go to Bethlehem but Mary, Joseph and Child had already left for Nazareth after the Presentation at the Temple. The Star reappears – obvious reason for them to rejoice with exceeding great joy and guides them to Nazareth where they enter “the house”. It is a house, not a stable nor a cave. The house is in Nazareth and not in Bethlehem. In Bethlehem they were in a stable.
In the meantime, the clock is ticking —up to as much as two years— and Herod is getting impatient until he finally realizes that the Wise Men were really wise and knew exactly what he had in mind and went back home bypassing Herod’s Court. It is then that Herod orders to kill “...all the men children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof.”
“Borders thereof” refers to “vicinity”. Although, in today’s terminology, Nazareth would not be considered part of “the vicinity” of Bethlehem (1) it certainly was under the jurisdiction of Herod who was King of Judea (2). Therefore, the slaughter of the innocent, could have gone far beyond “the vicinity” of Bethlehem.
CONCLUSION
Therefore, the Holy Family fled to Egypt from Nazareth and not Bethlehem and... once again... the Holy Scriptures prove to be coherent (once God gives the “Keys”, of course.)
