Divinely Inspired or Heresy?

We May Now Be Able to Answer That Question

PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to shed some light on the controversy which continues to swirl around the Book of Enoch (1a) and the possible relation between it and the great civilizations of antiquity which predate (1b) the Egyptian, the Maya, the Inca and other legendary civilizations.

The purpose of this document is not to convince anyone. We only strive to assist humanity in its spiritual development. This is to be achieved not by brainwashing (2), as the "Evangelizers" have done for nearly 1,600 years, but by encouraging humanity to utilize the intellect granted it by God in conjunction with, and assisted by, the Illumination of the Holy Spirit of God.

INTRODUCTION

Who is Enoch? Why may he be so important?

Although there is more than one individual named Enoch (3), the one we will focus on is the father of Methuselah. [Genesis 4: 17-18 and 5:18-24]

After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God for 300 years; and he begot sons and daughters..... then he was no more, for God took him. [Genesis 5:22-24]

Here "God took him" is not an euphemism for "dying". The writer of this part of Genesis was very careful in stating "then he died" when writing about Enoch's relatives ending their lives on Earth, but, when he wrote about Enoch it was different. "Good took him" as it later happened with Elijah. Even when we read that Noah also "walked with God" just as Enoch did, at the end of Noah's journey we read "then he died" and not that "God took him"

It is obvious then that Enoch was of similar spiritual status as Elijah.

Did Enoch leave a written legacy?

Obviously he did if we are to accept the Letter of Jude as a canonical book of the New Testament. On verses 14-15 we read:

And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Augustine (354-430), who is very revered by the Roman Catholic Church establishment, confirmed that Enoch did write about Divine matters. Also, Tertullian (160-230), Clement of Alexandria (150-220), St. Atanasius, St. Jerome and others speak of Enoch's Book as preserved in Noah's Ark in the time of the deluge", that is, they considered it written by the Patriarch Enoch himself. (4)

Furthermore, what St. Jude cites in his above quoted Letter is almost verbatim from the Ethiopic version of the Book of Enoch [Enoch 1:9]. The words "the seventh from Adam" may be also found in the same book [Enoch 60:8] as spoken by Noah, who refers to his grandfather in such manner. Enoch also referred to himself in such manner. [Enoch 93:3] (1a)

Why is all of that important?

That question brings us to the purpose of this document. The following communication was received by The M+G+R Foundation. This writer's logic is fueling much discussion at all levels on a global scale. Therefore, God Willed that we address it here for all to benefit from it :

Beginning with the premise that knowledge is the key to understanding and underpinning my Faith as a Catholic I began many years ago to consider a number of books and subject material that many would call "New Age."

I considered information on subjects from authors such as Zecharia Sitchin to Discourses By St Germain to "A Course In Miracles" to "Pole Shift".

The more I read the more I found that ancient civilizations had common histories and legends even though separated by thousands of miles and continents...

Many of these histories support the conclusions that a race of beings from outside the planet came to Earth and imparted knowledge to the cultures who were here at the time...

Early church fathers disputed Enoch's descriptions of two falls from Heaven-Lucifer and his followers as we all know fell through Pride but a second fall of a group of angels who were called Watchers and who saw and lusted after the daughters of men on planet Earth. These Watchers came to earth, became dense matter and essentially Incorporated as Mankind.

I believe that if one accepts that possibility and further considers that these Watchers are working today to undermine the faith of the believers in Christ through endless channels and opportunities: spreading pornography, advocating and advancing the agendas of abortion, homosexuality, the World View of Religions ad infinitum then a clear intention may be formed from these actions and understood for "those who have eyes to see and ears to hear"..

I ask that The M+G+R Foundation examine the writings in the Book Of Enoch, consider my remarks, and, by the Grace Of God, comment on the merit of my conclusions.

BACKGROUND

We will now strive to bring forth information that should be considered in conjunction with the writer's line of thinking.

As we have already pointed out in other documents (5), Biblical literalism can be dangerous and lead to errors and/or fanaticism. For example: If God only Created Adam and Eve, who did Cain marry? Or who did Seth marry to become the ancestor - four generations removed - of Enoch? (3)

If the problem that the Roman Catholic theologians have with the Book of Enoch was because his account was almost unbelievable, why was Chapter 6 of Genesis not also banned?

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all that they chose. And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years. The Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown. [Genesis 6:1-4]

According to Straubinger (4) some claim that the "sons of God" were the descendants of Seth, while the "daughters of men" were the daughters of Cain. Others claim that the "sons of God" were angels who materialized and interacted physically with women.

In the hopes of settling this issue, let us take a look at the Book of Daniel.

In Nabuchodonosor's furnace of torment we see Sidrach, Misach and Abdenago prancing around the fire with someone described by Nabuchodonosor as a "son of God" [Daniel 3:91-92]. Whereas in the New Testament we read about Our Lord Jesus Christ frequently describing Himself as the "son of man" yet His Father is God.

It would then be safe to assume that the term "son of man" refers to a spirit/soul that was born into the world (in human flesh) - even though that spirit may be the Spirit of God; whereas, "son of God" refers to a creature that was created to exclusively be a spirit although it may take the appearance of a human: i.e. Raphael [Tobias 12:15-21].

When an unclean spirit takes possession of a human body, i.e. the possessed of Gerasens [Mark 5:1-12], then we are not dealing with an "appearance of" but with a "manifestation of".

Now, going back to the Book of Genesis, Chapter 6....

It was because the result of that interaction between the sons of God with the daughters of men that God brought upon mankind the great deluge. God wished to save only Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives plus a pair of each animals species of the world . [Genesis 6:1-22] Therefore, if indeed those (fallen) angels, sons of God - or Watchers as Enoch called them - had taken human form, married and impregnated the daughters of men and contaminated human creation - after the deluge, they should not have existed any more. End of the problem! Or was it?

Nonetheless, look at the world today. By all standards, most of humanity has fallen into practicing everything that has been shown as evil in the Holy Scriptures - from Genesis on to the Book of Revelations. It seems that behavior of the sons of men has become a textbook case of all encompassing moral degradation.

Therefore, the explanation regarding the reproductive interaction among the sons of God and the daughters of men is inadequate to justify the level of depravity attained by mankind at the start of the 21st Century. (6) Neither such theory can explain the tremendous advance of ancient cultures nor their mythical heroes [Genesis 6:4]. However, as the saying goes "where there is smoke, there is fire!" Therefore, let us follow the "smoke"....

DETAILS

Now, what if those (fallen) sons of God spoken about in the Books of Genesis and Enoch, are indeed the angels who fell with satan? What if they are free to take possession (control) of a human bodies - as we have clearly explained in a document (7) which shows that reincarnation appears to occur, but does not?

If satan, the prince of darkness and of this world, had control of a large number of humans, would he not impart tremendous material wisdom to those who worshipped him - thus helping them establish incredibly advanced and lasting great civilizations as those which preceded the Egyptians, Mayans, etc.?

Would he not induce them to develop and practice similar religions (all over the world and seemingly unconnected) where humans take the place of God and where rituals call for the offering of human sacrifices to an unseen "god" (satan himself) and where the snake - the symbol of satan and sin since the Book of Genesis - takes a leading role?

Let us not forget that the unparalleled-in-human-history Alexander the Great was born of Olympia who claimed to have been impregnated by a snake. Although she was not, the symbolism and coherence is here too.

After Jesus Christ manifested Himself on Earth ("... Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe in the gospel." [Mark 1:14-15]) satan's hold on the world started to decline. Still, satan's influence, although declining, was felt over the ensuing twenty centuries, only to logically flare up, as it has now, at the End of These Times.

Who would induce, for example, Pope Gregory XIII to offer a solemn Te Deum in St. Peter's Basilica and have a medal struck reading "Ugonotiorum strages" (the destruction of the Huguenots) to celebrate the slaughter in France of over 20,000 Huguenots (Protestants in France)? The Spirit of God? Of course not!

Who would induce Lenin to unleash upon humanity the scourge of communism? The Spirit of God? Of course not!

Who would induce Adolph Hitler to plunge the world in an apocalyptic carnage? The Spirit of God? Of course not!

Who would induce Cardinal Law (8) to single-handedly promote the destruction of innocent souls entrusted to him and then induce John Paul II to glorify Law by placing him as the titular head of the most important Basilica dedicated to the Immaculate One (9)? The Spirit of God? Of course not!

The only ones who would induce such behavior would be the (fallen) sons of God alluded to in Genesis (which are the "Watchers" of the Book of Enoch) acting through human bodies (7) and with satan at their head directing the operations.

CONCLUSIONS

Would it not then be satan's final coup to make humanity believe that the sources of those great civilizations and mythical heroes were Extraterrestials wisely hidden in New Age (10) teachings? This would then "confirm" to the completely disoriented humanity that the appearances of Mary, and other supernatural assistance given by God to His beleaguered children, are not from God but from some other creatures (11). What a masterful deception!

EPILOGUE

As a matter of record, and just one example of many, miguel de Portugal has seen [with the confirmation by a qualified third party who was a practicing Psychologist], in a period of approximately fifteen minutes, ten to fourteen individuals, who looked just "like the guy next door", simply vanish after entering into a rest room which had no other doors nor windows. The circumstances were such that, upon meditating over this striking event, it was obvious to miguel that they were there on a "spiritual destruction mission". Obviously having concluded their "job in the area" they just left in an unobtrusive manner.

How many of those fallen "sons of God" are at work out there right now under the guise of being regular human beings or by means of possessing a human victim? Look at the world today and take a guess!

What can we do then? This and this! Why now? Because it is that time!
